You live in a democracy (Greece), but this site isn't run that way, and it shouldn't be. The admin(mostly) and the mods decide things here, so this is rather a dictatorship or oligarchy.

This isn't a democracy for one simple reason. A democracy is based on all people contributing to keep the society up and running. In the case of this site, one person is making sure the server is running, one person is paying for the site to stay online and a handful of people are making sure the forum is on track. Thus any decisions pertaining to the forum are being voted on by the moderators who help run this place. You'll find this is more or less standard procedure in forums all over.
