Dont worry mate, to be a mod here you have to be either:
A) extremely rude
B) here once in a few weeks
C) not have a firm stance about anything
D) avoid getting involved with forum problems
E) go away for a few months and come back like nothing happened
F) treat some of the members like utter crap, and be nice to others

Now, if you try hard enough you might just make it :thumb:
Too be quite honest I thought this was extremely un-neccessary. Some people here seem to think moderators should be here all the time, edit all offensive posts and do everything they way they would like it. That's not possible. The moderators can't always be here, cause we have jobs, school and other things to take care of, a life basically, like anyone else. Almost evertime I log on to this site there's another moderator here. I can't understand that there's a big problem with lack of moderating here. To claim that the moderators here don't have a firm stance on anything here I also find stupid. There's two parties or more in a conflict, in many conflicts there are no clear wrongs and rights. Resolving conflicts is most times better than just ordering some sort of soultion. I saw that the moderating here was questioned in the other thread (the one with all the fighting). I'm very interested in the members opinion on that, what do you want differently? A sterner approach? More editing of post? I'm not saying that changes will be made after it :)D), but what flogs your log?

I'm actually ticked off because Z now seems to be taking his role as spiritual leader a wee bit far. Most people register here because they sense a positive atmosphere and interesting people to talk to. You probably did too. And that doesn't come by itself, a lot of forums have opened and closed due to a lack of interest or internal conflict. Yet from the moment you perceived a problem with lilianna and how her case was handled, you apparently decided that all the mods here are all bad and we deserve nothing but contempt. Which is very ironic considering the fact that you registered here and participated for a long time, presumably enjoying yourself thanks in no small measure to efforts of the current mods and past mods. Suddenly you're one of the anarchists. Pathetic.

I think you guys(mods) are doing a great job as it is Torkel and Z is just being Z.
What does that mean :irritate:

Spiritual leader? What, did Incubo hack Martin's account? :wth:

Anyways, I dont think all the mods are bad, but I do wish some things were handeled differently, and I told you this a few months back.

I just think you could do an even better job... Like I said about Del Piero: I critisize because I care... ;)

Anyways, in some way I was looking for trouble, to see if I can get away with it like Nick does

the forum is still great, imo. some small missunderstandings but nothing that should lead to more missunderstandings. unless some members use every chance they have to be "sarcastic"

Seriously Z, if you have some place to be, noone is keeping you chained to the wall..
You do know he spens most of his waking hours trying to think of new ways of winding you up? :D

Problem is not the Mods....Mods don't act superior like in other sites where they won't even bother replying or judge based on whether they like your nickname or avatar.
I thought this was the case here but they have proven me wrong time and time again.

actually i think it would be also good if the members would decide who the next mod should be.

if we live in dimocracy, members should decide who to be banned or celected as mod.

bad idea cuz members might hate a certain member thus the member will be banned ;)

leave it for the mods and admins to decide :)

    it would be after "elections"

    from all the members.

but because smg like this is diffcult...that's why...better leave it on martin, and not the other mods.

    he knows better
