Yep, just can't see us paying 38M upfront for a player. This day hasn't come yet. Unless we get our 25M from Bayern right now upfront for Coman.
How did we structure the Dybala deal? Not very sure, but wasn't a chunk of that 32m up front? I know it wasn't the entire amount for sure, but still. And what about the Sandro deal? I think we have some leftover cash from the Vidal sale to enable a full buyout purchase like this one, even if the two deals I've mentioned here don't mirror a buyout clause type situation of cash upfront. Id also consider the trade-off. 38m is really nothing in todays market, and with the cycle we're in, even though we are in Italy's Serie A and factoring things like amortisation in our sales, still think we are well placed.
Tuttosport claims Allegri is insisting for Pjanic
Give the man what he wants Beppe, before you get husted.
It would be a risky move but I agree. Longer we wait the more chance another club sneaks in.
Don't think we will have a problem finding buyers for Asamoah & co.
And we have to now also factor in that its not just the regular biggies, practically any club in England can now afford to trigger that clause. If this guy is one of our primary targets, we should close without thinking about the sales. That said though, it does weaker our outgoing negotiations no doubt, unless we sell in England.
