A few seasons ago Zalayeta received a 2 match suspension. Also on Tuesday if I'm not mistaken. Decision was overturned by the end of the week. Zalayeta sat out 0 games.

As far as I know, we are appealing to have this suspension canceled, not to bring it back to 1 game instead of 2.

They either make a decision about the appeal within the next 3 days, which they will most likely do, or Krasic plays.
You are right, but don't forget that match was against Juve not for Juve:

Napoli were about to play Fiorentina and Reggina after Juventus, not Milan or Inter. That's why Napoli's appeal was accepted. There wasn't anyone powerful to stop the judges from accepting the appeal.

It'll still be about politics and money. FIGC won't just accept our appeal and find it rightful. They'll expect something in return for accepting the appeal.

about Robinho's simulation: There's no trace about it in the report...I base my decisions on what the Federal Prosecutor* reports to me.

* Stefano Palazzi...same guy of 2006...Juve in B in no time...meelan in CL.

The media made the impression that the Serb from Juve must be punished for cheating like that.

Italy - Serbian football player, Juventus, cheating.

Every single detail was sooo fitting. Of course they suspended him so easily.

oh come off it. There was a dive. Krasic would not have been suspended if he did not dive. Let's call a spade a spade. For all I know, yeah, there might be people looking for these opportunities to hurt us, but if there are, then Krasic handed them one on a golden platter, and right before the Milan match too...

Do Serbs have a history of diving or cheating? Not in my opinion tbh, some unsavoury incidents like Mihajlovic being the nob jockey he usually is but I'm not sure this perception exists?

It's not like they need such precise logic. He's a Serb, he dived, there's resentment against Serbs right now after Genova, and so it makes sense.

I can understand that, it all seems convenient. Especially as he is a new guy to the league and they can make an example of him whilst directly benefitting their team.

The reason it blew up so big is because he plays for Juve, we don't have any power in the media anymore, all the sports shows and newspapers are all controlled by the Milans, we have Tuttosport and La Stampa (sometimes) against the rest of Italy

The TV Controcampo (mediaset) had 1 Juve guy that would defend Juve until he dies but he got sacked this season. The trial going on in Napoli only gets reported in the main media only when something bad is said against Juve and it doesn't look like Moratti is going to get called up to Napoli either

For me the club has to step up and ban all media that talks shit about the club, it will never end until the club stands up and defends itself once and for all

:agree: The team is hurting more after the dive than Krasic is. People seem to forget that.

Sometimes bad news is good news and that is what Juve thrived on before 2006. Bad media attention isn't always bad as it draws attention to the club and gets its name out even more. On top of that is makes our already massive fan base even closer to the club, something other clubs can say.

The media is fucking gay and so is the ban but what can you do? Krasic won't be diving anymore, at least I hope not. We need to use the media attention in our favor and Agnelli needs to come out and say something beneficial because his words will certainly be heard.

it was a terrible dive, and he should have known better.

now, when he gets taken down legitimately in the box, the refs wont call it
