Before I go on holiday tomorrow, I try to stay out of the net but this is just too enticing to igonore.:D.

Rossineri fan: Juve is trash because we looked like trash against Barca friendly..

Apply that logic to Milan: It is only a friendly , and Barca was the only team that wanted it. Milan players looked rusty.

Isn't this called "double standards" in English?;).

walu_ex,

I think most of us here admit Milan on the night deserved to win the CL trophy. As a matter of fact, most of us here was disgusted by the way in which the team play, as well as major row on Trez and Del Piero developed and carried on for weeks.

However, winning CL doesn't necessarily mean Milan are better than Juve. As matter of fact, Juve has shown through out the season to be the most consistent, mentally strong team in Italia, and possibly Europe. Anyhow, Juve's win against Real is no more freakish than Milan's victory against us. We were better than them on the night, and the difference between teams over the "two" leg was simply too large to credit to freakish result. Juve matched Real in Madrid with half of the team suspended against Barca, and when they came back we simply turned on style, and gave them lesson on "how to play ball".:D.
This year will be interesting because Inter is still strong, Milan has the talent, Lazio if they can make couple of aquisition will remain very competetive, Roma with another goal scoring foward and possibly one or two defender and midfielder will be very strong, Parma with year older and team remained intact will pose serious threat to any big 5 and I respect all these teams. However, as we won the league last year and finalist of CL, I think we deserve more respect than we are now getting.;)

Wow! Is this how excited you guys become when we lose unimportant games.... Unbelievable.
I love the way you present your views with such ignorance and double standards.
We arent getting happy abt Milan losing to Barca. We're just happy your own beloved Milan is making an ass of you in this forum by proving you wrong.
You judge Juve's performance against Barca and write jackshit abt the "unimportant game." And what do you expect us to do when Milan play Barca.....!!!! JERK OFF?? Its only obvious we have to wake you up to reality and put you back in your place. With the rest of the "LOSENERRI."

I realised Barcelona were treating the game like as if it was a life or death situation. They wanted the RESULT more than anything.
What a coincidence, this sounds like Milan's story in the CL final.!!!!!!!!!!!

Barcelona had other ideas. Pressing, defending, counter-attacking.....
Other ideas??? Thats what football is about you moron!

european champions my ***!!!
though you won the CL, you didn't deserve it more than Juve.
:blah: :blah:

in fact, i'm not sure you would win the CL if you played the best you can in the Serie A.
but we, we were fantastic in both competitions. your ******* team finished only third and fourth two years ago!

FORZA JUVE!

Persian.... I'm not here to predict scorelines.... you and Majed should perhaps go and find a jetliner and fly it into a skyscraper.
these kind of comments only makes you look dumber.

Hello Walu,

Unfortunately i diddn't get to watch the Milan-Barca game. I've read yr opinions, here's mine

To say that Milan lost 2-0 is quite preposterous
Walu, perhelps it seams perposterous to u, but this is a statistic. This is the score that the world will know, this is what will go down in black and white. This is the reality... If that is what u really think, then it is not us that u have to convince, but the rest of the world.

Barcelona played like *********. They really wanted to achieve a result. They packed their half with 10 men, and gave us very little space in which to manouvre. In friendly matches so early in the season, it's a shame to come up against a side that believed they would be making a point by coming away with a result.
Well, what kind of team would play a game or any game for that matter without wanting to get a result? That's the aim ain't it? Would u have wanted milan to not have wanted a result? I think not. My point is, if the scoreline were reversed would you have said the same of Milan? At the end of this game Barca came away with 1 thing that Milan diddn't. Morale

Underestimate us at your own peril
all i can say is same to you. I havent seen any of us underestimate Milan in the 1st place. Wasn't it yrself who in the 1st post of this thread said the following?

many consider you our top rivals, and i've very worried that you may not even be worthy
Then there's this

Those of you that lack the brains to put forward your views in a civilised manner.... How sophisticated you make the stereotypical Juve fan look.....
This 1 i just don't get. How can u say the above then state what you did about our Majed in the very next post?

I've read what u said abt not replying to girls in the other thread, well, i'm a girl. Its fine with me if u think i don't qualify to argue with u abt football matters, but this 1 had absolutlely nothing to do with football and i can tell u without a dout that yr Majed comment was the last thing on earth from being civilised.

Do u understand my implication Walu? If yr ordinary language is inconsistent, what abt the football realted matter in yr posts?

oh, and Fabiana is a girl, in case u couldn't tell that its a girl's name. So should i ask her not to answer you then? Since u already have.

bla bla bla....

I was wrong about one or two things I said. it was only after watching today's game that I realised Barcelona were treating the game like as if it was a life or death situation. They wanted the RESULT more than anything.

We were expecting to play an exhibition game and dazzle americans, but Barcelona had other ideas. Pressing, defending, counter-attacking..... I guess that as european champions people are dying to defeat us, even in games that don't matter.
Walu,

this is called football. And yes, Barca probably don't underestimate Milan, thats why thay played in this way.

Why can't you guys just lay off? Can't you see I'm just an insecure Rossonero taking on a whole juve forum all by myself because deep in my heart I know everything Milan achieved last season was a tota fluke and if the God of football was just Juventus would have secured a famous treble.
Surrender accepted :)

I think, including myself, was disgusted because we knew we could win but again chocked when it was important. Full credit to Milan for winning it, though.
However, I am pretty sure that come next year, we will be the one that is celebrating it.:)

Milan Outclassed By Barca

07/31/2003. Barcelona absolutely oozed class during a 2-0 victory over AC Milan in Washington, DC on Wednesday.

Barca's new signings Ronaldinho and Quaresma stole the show and were rewarded for their efforts with a goal each. Ronaldinho set up Quaresma for a beautiful first before the twinkle-toed Brazilian weighed in with the killer second courtesy of a deflection off Roque Junior.

"When he touches the ball, something happens," said Barca coach Frank Rijkaard of Ronaldinho. "He has some fantastic passes and movement.

"An example of that was the first goal, which was finished beautifully. He is very instinctive, especially when we are in possession."

I dunno, looking at it rationally and given that we got a good squad now we have a shot; but there are times when our performances are so lame we look like getting outclassed. We have a shot but I'd still put us behind Milan, United, Real and Bayern to win it.

I think alot depends on if Davids remains, and if he leaves, who would be substituting him.

With Davids, Juve are among the top 3 favourites to lift the trophy.

I think Juve's current team doesn't have too many problems in theory, as we seem to have enough depth to cover any role (unlike last year where whenever Davids or Nedved were missing, we really suffered).

yep, Appiah and Maresca will be absolutely brilliant for the squad, I'm really looking forward to having a good crack at the Cl this year. Tacchinardi was the guy most sorely missed though, when he was missing we looked a bit lost.

Though the defence is relatively well covered, I think this is where things could explode.
Juggling striking rotation could another headache for Lippi especially Miccoli plays well from the start or Alex and Trez cannot regain their form early on.
Davids contract situation is a time-tomb waiting to explode.
Long term injury to Nedved has to be avoided.

As long as we can stay away from thse troubles, I see us on level terms with Milan and Real. I think jury is out on Man U how they adopt Post-Beckam era. Beside, it is not just us that has problems. Real, and Milan are also going into the season with major weakness. I think out of all top class teams with possibly exception of Bayern, we are most balanced team on paper.:).

I think Inter has a major shot this year on paper at least.;)

on paper Inter should win the treble. The team they can put out is phenomenal. All they really lack is a world class DM. If they bought say vieira, they would win everyhting, but for the mentality problems and defensive coach.
