He won Serie A goalkeeper of the year so I suspect he is more than solid. I wonder whether he is good with his feet - something Motta wants.
he's below average when it comes to his launch accuracy, but his short and medium length passing is good. long passes: meh

stats wise he's a bit like tek. highlights can make everyone look better, so here's one

i think that his main strength is his shot stopping. he saves a lot of big chances.

A meeting will take place next week to close the Di Gregorio deal. It will be a loan with an obligation to buy after Juve’s first point won in February 2025.

they’re gonna sell like ten players and haven’t made any serious investments since….Bremer? It’ll be ok.
Ten players with a combined value of like 20m?

We do not have the luxury of being able to recklessly splurge funds on unecessary positions. Someone like Bremer or Vlahovic will have to be sacrificed as our milking cow and even still, their sales will need to fund their replacements in addition to other gaps in the squad that already needed attention.

It's a market opportunity. With De Gregorio, we wouldn't have to spend big on a keeper for the next 5-6 years. We'd be set in that position for the foreseeable future.

Besides if it's a loan + obligation to buy as it's been reported, I don't see a huge problem here.

We'll get 20 million from here.

and we will pay them off in 2025

I think so
I was talking about the "first point won in February" part whick I think is an interesting clause.

But never mind, I googled it and found that Inter used exactly the same pattern in Frattessi's deal. I think it's just a way of saying that the club want to schedule the amortization to next year and pay it right after the winter mercato of next season.

All we have to do is lose throughout February and he's free then :hihi:

Di Gregorio is cooler sounding surname and he also looks like a Roman Solider on meth. So I’m kind of glad we’re signing him.
I thought I was the only one who see him as a D.D.R GK version.

Marco Carnesecchi is more handsome and for that reason I am disappointed in this transfer.
Actually he is more hype than great.
