N'zogbia is a better player/prospect than Bastos IMO although both them are'nt anything special, much better options IMO. Hazard, Vargas, would prefer QUALITY in one of these two + Pastore or world class SS like Aguero/Sanchez

Bastos is a great winger. I'd question his defensive abilities if he plays as LB. But SMF, he is top class.

Zeigler behind him will mean something. He is a player who rarely misses the ball and do mistakes, unlike Pepe. He'll add a lot, especially his crosses are just amazing. We missed that since years, both left and right.

what he has and pepe not is the ability to cross and dribble past opponents. And his natural position is left wing/left midfielder. And his technique is unquestionable. I think he is a step forward... Maybe not as big as we want, but we are not the club as big as we want also, so he is probably the best what we can get.

Bastos is not a great player IMO he's 28 and been average this season, and is not worth the reported 15-17million fee by any means. Vargas is even a better playerIMO. Bastos would be a pointless signing and a waste of 15-17million.

I think that Martinez is much better than Pepe, it's just that it hasn't worked for him here. He has been unfit for the whole season and used out of position.

Sinisa wants him at Fiorentina since he coached him at Catania and I think that he would do well there. We should cash in for him or use him to get Vargas.
