As for Bastos, I think he's going to be very good here.

I just still hope we're not gonna get ripped off when it comes to the transfer fee.
My sentiments as well. Krasic and Bastos on the flanks can devastate any team. Say what you want about Pirlo, but those wingers will give us the most out of him and vice versa.

Strange that people used the age argument against Bastos but suddenly don't think that is a problem for Vargas who has the same age.

I bet the same people also think how :gsol: Vargas is more experienced :gsol:
It's at a point here that is laughable. Just because everyone is a bit more familiar with Vargas' name they prefer him ( probably because they pay more attention to Italian league); but really Bastos is the better player here.

Start watching Ligue 1, because you have no idea what you're talking about.
I already do:lol::tup: and do acutally watch football, i mean soccer:lol: Ligue 1 is a breeding-ground for young talent to develop and eventually move to a big league i.e. Serie A, La liga, EPL. Even Lyon, the best team in France for the past decade are a feeder club to bigger clubs in Europe. And BTW Bastos is average:tup:

Vargas isn't a big name in Serie A. Like an Eto'o, Buffon, Ibra, etc If anything he's underated, people going on some wild-guessing/telepathic by claiming to know what other people are thinking, because their's far better options than ordinary Bastos:lol:

Exactly what iv been saying. Krasic was being marked by 2-3 men game in and game out because teams knew pepe martinez and marchisio are not good wingers so if Bastos comes thats huge having the option of two fast and skilled players on the wings. Add Pirlo to that mix then Pirlo will be able to use his passing abilities to open up the opposing teams on counter attacks or quick break outs.

I dont know if anyone has posted this already but on goal.com his agent revealed that the Bastos deal is moving along well and that in 10 days time there should be an announcement.

I never said he was a huge did, now did I? I only said because people watch Juve they are likely to see 2 Fiorentina matches in a season, which Vargas will probably feature in. And the overall idea that you probably catch some highlights of the games, etc so you are more exposed to Vargas. I wouldn't say Bastos is average; far better than what we have now, and better than majority of the players we can attract at this point.

Better than the likes of Pepe, that must be hard:lol: attract? yh like spending nearly 30million on Martinez and Bonucci, great "attracted" players:lol:
And you don't think thats the part of problem? When you ditch the smilies maybe ill take your posts more seriously, for now I feel like I am talking with a 5 year old.
