As FIAT Automotive plumets, so does Juve because the Agnelli family owns the team, as well as FIAT.

why moggi didnt send micco on a loan !!!!
i think this is one of the strangest deal i have ever since.
miccoli asked for a trade, and juve sold him away without seocnd thought, it seems like it all happened in 15 minutes only !!!

the reason for moccoli requested trade, besides the signning of zlatan, i think there is something undisclosed between both parties !!!

ah..yeah, why didn't moggi loan him out instead ???

mystery !!

Once again, cash man. Co-ownership is like fast cash, or having an advance on your payday. Loaning pays off over time, and I believe that Juve needed cash to pay for Ibrahimovic. Besides, if Juve need Miccolli again, they just buy him back.

Fiorentina to field Miccoli
Tuesday, 31 August 2004

Italian international striker Fabrizio Miccoli has moved to ACF Fiorentina after the Serie A newcomers paid €7m to purchase 50 per cent of his license from Juventus FC.

'A great gift'
The 25-year-old forward has signed a three-year contract with the Viola, having a fortnight ago won his third senior Italian cap in Iceland. "We have decided to give a great gift to Florence," said Fiorentina vice-president Diego Della Valle after the signing.

Well-trodden path
Miccoli, who moved to Turin from AC Perugia in summer 2003, is the third player to join Fiorentina from Juventus this close season after Enzo Maresca and Giorgio Chiellini. Fiorentina's first Serie A fixture as a reformed club is at AS Roma on 12 September.

yeah...i agree that it might be the reason.....
but, i think that the 3m from the miccoli's deal doesn't help a lot.

on the othe side, zlatan is more like a " goal scorer " than miccoli, he may help to off load for Trez a little bit !!!

anyway, the deal is done, and we have to move on.

Miccoli want be happy to be a the choice number 4 in the team, this why he was sent to fiorentina to partner with Enzo to in order to buid the new jve attack.

Good move Moggi

looks like zlatan will play a double edge role covering both del piero and trezeguet after all....but my concern is with both Del Piero and Trezeguet almost guranteed 2 months absence every season ( they already have fitness concerns at their respective NT )...that wouldnt be enough...

but i can understand Micolli's dissapointment..treating last season as his ice breaking season, with the sell of Di Vaio, he would hoped that this year would be his breakthrough year...but buying Zlatan Ibrahimovich is a serious blow..he really need first team football to upgrade his career and cement his National Team place....

IMO, Moggi has done the right thing: would be unfair for Miccoli to sit him as a 4th striker...but Zlatan is now more important for the team, as he can play as first or second forward replacing DP or Trez...and Miccoli is now co-owned with fiorentina, meaning that we can bring him back if needed...and considering that we are short of cash, with the 4.5 millions received we can make first payment to ajax...........another good move of Lucianone...:D
