*In the future.

He aint playing much this season (maybe even next) when both MDL and Bon are fit.
Ok, let's break it down:

This season:

-Chiellini most likely won't play anymore
-Rugani no
-Bonucci had something on his heel, but will be fit.
-MDL, gonna play this season and right after UCL is done = Surgery.

Next season:

-Chiellini prob 10-15 games?
-Rugani gone?
-Bonucci, when fit he will play
-MDL surgery, so won't play

So who exactly is going to play then if not Demiral?

He is the *future.

How do you know MDL will have surgery? Has it been officially confirmed?

Not sure if confirmed, but anything else would be stupid. He already had those issues before Corona, then there was like 100 days break from football, time to heal it but now back at it again. There's just no other way of getting through it at this point anymore if that 100 days break didn't help.

Then we're really dumb to not get through with it during the lockdown.

Well, nobody really knew does it require a surgery or not, so it was given time, time to heal and now it pretty much seems that surgery is the only option. They prob thought, let's not do the surgery yet, we have this situation and let's see how it progresses given the estimation of games being back was unknown and if it won't last, do the surgery straight away but MDL prob wants to help his team till the remaining and the most important games of the season.

Yeah, we have 3 months to do that and MDL will comeback stronger and have time to rehabilitation

The only logical explanation is that is not really bad that time, so we think it will just healed in time

If we already secure the scudetto, maybe Inter dropping point like Atalanta and he can recover before 8 August (Lyon) then do that surgery.

Inter is more motivated to win this game than Roma as they are out of UCL spot race. But I hope Roma can get at least 1 point there

Sarri need MDL like how he need Koulibaly in Napoli. Our season is blow by Chiellini and Demiral injury. But the bright side is, we still at the top of the table and both are recover in time.

Covid break give us time for them to heal. And disrupt Lazio form too. Lazio pre covid are unstoppable, Lazio after covid just like another team. But they always motivate to beat us

We still have next 3 rather easy game, we can try to include him there
Probably as sub in Udinese game, start against Samp and Cagliari

That is if he already healed and ready to play
