De Ligt and Demiral could be a force together. Let’s hope that Demiral’s injury doesn’t have a permanent scar on his performance/ his explosiveness and aggression aren’t reduced.

Bonucci isnt bad as of right now but I would like to see demiral get used but our defense has been really strong with those two together
Did you watch our last game? He was atrocious. Bonucci was never a good defender. He can't tackle, sucks on crosses (but is somehow an aerial threat in the opposition penalty area), and is often found wanting with coverage. He's a great passer and an organizer, but there's more to defending than that. He's not a defender in the classical sense of the word.

Ideal to have in between Chiellini and Barzagli...They had everything bonucci didn't.

Nonetheless demiral is the future and I can't see him benched if he returns to his best. It is a central pairing that could destroy most for the next several seasons.

How is he an arieal threat last game he missed an easy shot, then when he had to head the ball he used his shoulder instead.
