Bro these guys are 2 faced. Dont bother. If Demiral had blue eyes and blond hair they would suck his dick. Typically european racism. Demiral is going to be one of the best defenders I believe that to
Absolutely. His olive skin means he'll have to perform at least 20% better than DeLigt for me to consider him a valid alternative.

@Mark done jinxed him from the very beginning. There is only so much superior genetics can do.

According to Romeo Agresti the reasons behind not playing Demiral are strictly technical and nothing political as Sarri is trying a fixed backline to create better harmony and understanding after Chiellini’s injury (I think it’s working), and that Rugani is prefered to Demiral at the moment because of his familiarity of Sarri’s system since their Empoli days.

i do think that politics should stay outside the pitch, and supporting erdogan's genocide is nothing short of unacceptable, but if the club doesn't care then who are we to judge. in this case the only thing that should matter is that demiral is clearly a better player than rugani.

do it, sarri. you made cuadrado a classy right back. you made bonucci return to his best. you made dybala shine again. you rejuvenated the half of our squad. teaching demiral a system shouldn't be an issue for ya, if 20 year old rugani could learn it too. :snoop:

It's pretty obvious to anyone objectively looking at it.

If he sits tight and/or the club doesn't plusvalenza his ass in Jan then I reckon by the turn of the year he'll get some games and he'll be ahead of Rugani.

Agreed, however if he does eventually demand more playing time and doesn’t get it then also some sort of a loan might very well be a possibility aswell i think.(with Euro’s coming up the plusvalenza could skyrocket if we sell in the summer)

Anyway, pretty much impossible to predict what will happen by January at this time, although is already November there are still so many factors (such as injuries, market opportunities, player’s will, etc) that can have an important impact and could very well influence the final decision.

I personally hope we will do our best to keep him around, although i do kind of doubt it that will be the case.

I think the Chiellini injury hurt is game time more than it helped tbh, with Chiellini, Sarri knows he has a good partnership between him and Bon, there is chemistry there and that is the two that would start in a major game. Now he has to get Bon and De Ligt to play together as much as they can to build the partnership for big games, and since they havnt exactly been convincing as a pair its kinda understandable.
Starting Rugani is yuck though, maybe he thinks he can revive him
