Moggi really is a genius.

This transfer campagain was trully reamrkable.

1.st We got Emerson for much less then 18 mil € we would have to pay if we would get into a biddin war

2.nd We got Zebina and Kapo for free.

3.rd We swaped Carini for Cannavaro.

Moggi

Carini for Cannavaro that's practicly for free becaouse carini would never played for us when we have Buffon.

Look's like our defence won't be so bad after all.

---Zebina--Thuram--Cannavaro--Zambrotta

We have 3 WC defenders and Cannavaro would fit right in becaouse he knows Thuram so well. :thumb:

I wouldn't mind Birindelli as RB.

I will be angry to say the least if this goes deal goes through. If they wanted to sell Canna, they should have just sold him to Real and not make an opponent in the same league stronger. This just does not make any sense, we are not getting big money for him nor are we getting a player that could help us considerably at the moment. If this carini business is true, we have Toldo who can play at top flight for 2 more seasons so Carini is not even needed now.
Also, Inters backline especially CD might be shaky. Mihajlovic is old and slow, Materazzi is clumsy and reckless and Burdisso still unproven at this level, only player who is at Canna's level at the moment is Cordoba.
I hope this deals falls through, theres just no sense in it, but then again...its Moratti.

Yeah Moratti is insane, i guess he thinks Canna's wage is expensive for them, but why the hell do they keep Vieri, he is first of all a b*tch, completly useless and the most money sucking player on the team.

Well not my problem, Forza Juve & Cannavaro

Yeah, you have Toldo, but after a season or two who are you gonna play as a GK. Fontana? Cordaz?
You can loan Carini a year or two and then play him as the first choice GK.

Cannavaro-Juve, questione di ore
27 08 2004

Cannavaro-Juve, issue of hours
08 27 2004

Issue of days, perhaps of hours, and the Juventus will announce the purchase of Fabio Cannavaro. Like promised to Hat from the bianconeri leaders, the qualification in Champions will carry at least two reinforces in the rose and the first one will be just the Neapolitan defender corteggiatissimo from the Juve sin from june. Moggi has not denied the interest for the player limiting itself to say: "E' one possible solution". The Inter has shown a sure availability in dealing the player already with the Real Madrid and hour is ready to dealing with the also aware Juve to reinforce one direct concurrent for the conscious title it but to save 15 million euro in its ' mount wages at least '. Mancini has four players in the role (Burdisso, Cordoba, Miahjlovic, Cordoba and Materazzi) and has given its lowers technician to the cession of the captain of the National one. The Juve proposes the exchange with Fabian Pretty (24 years). The porter of Uruguayan origin is playing in Belgium and would play an other season in the Liegi Standard for being able to be tesserato as communitarian the next year. For the Inter Pretty he could represent after Toldo.

nter stopper Fabio Cannavaro could be just hours away from becoming a Juventus player.

The defender has been linked with the Turin giants for some time and talks have resumed after a move to Real Madrid failed to materialise.

Reports on Friday claim that the Italian captain will arrive in a straight swap deal with Fabian Carini.

The Uruguayan ‘keeper, currently on loan with Standard Liege, is seen by the Nerazzurri as a future replacement for Francesco Toldo.

The Bianconeri seem to need a new central defender and boss Fabio Capello is a known admirer of the 30-year-old.

Cannavaro, who is contracted to Inter until 2006, is believed to be in favour of a switch after a few difficult seasons at the San Siro.

A move to the Delle Alpi would see him team up with Gigi Buffon and Lilian Thuram again after their time together at Parma.

He would also be guaranteed a first team shirt with Juventus, something that he isn’t currently at Inter.

There is some stiff competition for places at the San Siro given that Sinisa Mihajlovic, Nicolas Burdisso, Ivan Cordoba and Marco Materazzi are all available for selection.
