GDM:
There are new developments regarding the deal that could bring Memphis Depay to Juventus . Depay's representative, lawyer Sebastien Ledure , also involved in the negotiations for Romelu Lukaku 's return to Inter from Chelsea, is in the stands at San Siro to watch the match between Inter and Spezia
Meanwhile, talks are also proceeding between Juventus and the players' agents in search of an agreement on the terms of the contract. In particular, Depay's representatives await Juventus' ok to the high requests made regarding the engagement . At that point, if the bianconeri's yes arrived, the negotiation could approach a positive conclusion and Massimiliano Allegri could count on a player of quality and experience, ready to cover two roles on the pitch, that of central striker and that of offensive winger.

since he's basically free and on for a couple of years. If he gets a little extra it's ok, there's the tax thing.

Not buying the rumored salary. With all the importance our management places on the wage structure, it seems odd to make a bench player (once Chiesa returns) our highest paid player.

Besides, GDM has been full of shit and clueless about us this summer anyway.

Seems silly making a bench player the highest earner but i guess we're nearing the end of the mercato, squad could really use someone who can play CF and LW, and you won't get someone better or close to his level for no transfer fee right now.

He does have a strong bargaining position to ask for high wage

People should be welcoming him here by open arms. People against him are prob same who were willing to keep Dybala at 10m.

    Great signing.

I wonder whats his leverage in the negotiations? If we dont agree to whatever his salary demands are, he'll stay to earn 4.7m and sit on the bench in Barcelona? Or is there another club that'll give him a super high salary? I just dont see the need to overpay this guy to make him want to play here. if he doesnt want to come here, lets not do this, Arthur was enough
