I dont think Camo would wanna go to Atletico... the main reason behind Mouro's desire to leave, is that he wants to play in the Champions league.. and i dont think Atletico can offer him that ...

Camo is 29.. If juve get into seria A next season.. and then qualify to the CL the season after, Camo would be 31 .. so it wouldnt be bad after all... honestly, i think its a much better idea than going out to another new enviroment, where he might screw up and find alot of compition for a starting position, and leave back a loving crowd and a regular starting spot... many have kept their high level of football after the age of 30 .. i cant see why Camo cant be one of 'em

cant say he didnt deserve all the bagging he recieved he was acting like a little brat must i say Ibra like infact !:D But iam glad he found his brain and stayed at Juve after all he is a World Champion! But he must remember the club does not role around him he plays for the shirt and not for his pay checks! These where very hard times and i understand but u do not try to divide the club in order to get what u want, Juve where doing everything in there power to keep there champions however ugly it was! In the end we kept many national team players which surprised many! In order to get this club back where it belongs at the top of Europe!:agree:
Well said Alfio. He/his agent were playing up, but I glad he's now decided to stay with us.

Camoranesi going nowhere

Juventus winger Mauro Camoranesi has played down speculation he could leave the Stadio delle Alpi in the January transfer window.

The 30-year-old had been linked with a move to Spanish side Atletico Madrid after their first-choice right-winger Maxi Rodriguez was ruled out for six months after tearing cruciate ligaments in Argentina's friendly against Spain last week.

But Camoranesi denied the rumours, insisting “I have committed myself to Juventus and to helping the club gain promotion back to Serie A, and I have no intention of changing my mind.”

I will remain in Turin until June, when I hope to be celebrating our promotion. Only when the season is over will I sit down with the club's management to discuss my future. The club and I have already agreed on this plan, he added.”

Sorry Atletico, But I Want To Celebrate With Juve-Camoranesi

World Champion Mauro German Camoranesi has rejected reports that indicate he is set to leave Juventus for Atletico Madrid when the January transfer window opens up.

“I have accepted to help Juve return to the Serie A and will not go back on my foot-steps. I will stay here until June hoping to celebrate a promotion,” said the ‘Italo-Argentine.’

“Only after the season ends will I discuss my future with the club,” he added.

Atletico Madrid have put their eyes on Camoranesi since they lost superstar Maxi Rodiriguez for the rest of the season through injury.

Due to the Bianconeri’s wing alleged frictions with his club, that rejected Camoranesi’s summer pleas to leave the Serie B bound Old Lady, Atletico, along with many European giants, were/are hoping to convince ‘Camo’ to join their ranks after Christmas.

However, as today’s quotes go to prove, the former Verona player’s stance has changed in the past month and it will be hard to see him move from Turin before the summer comes along.

(very)Rough translation of some of the latter sentences.

About more show football in Serie A the last year:.

- Juve didn't?

Camo: We did more show football the first two years, less the last two years.(camo's years at juve)

- Lippi better than Capello?

Camo: I did not say that

- They were the two trainers

Camo: We won under both. Only we could've done better the last two years.

I think that Lippi were better than Capello

Well for instance, you have David Beckham who is much more recognized than Camoranesi, right? It is obviously because Becks as a person has more star quality with his demonstrably good looks and famous lifestyle. Camoranesi is still twice the footballer.
Hmm I don't agree with that. While Beckham has a more cleancut style... Camo still has some form of "star quality" and even looks (though more of a rocker look)... he looks quite a bit like Davey Havok (a rock singer) who is part Italian too.

I'd far rather we have Camoranesi than Beckham at the moment, in any event. Beckham is on his way out.

It's obvious that you don't know about this whole thing too much. Juve is now third, but it remain 33 rounds to be played. Juve would be first but damned -9 points are guilty for that.
