Firing the coach alone isn't enough.

Fire this turd.

Dispose of Tootsie and Cyst.

Build an entirely new midfield, with Bentancur the center of your project.

Like I said in another thread, start from Kulu, Zaniolo, and Aouar.
Would have liked to see us buy Tonali. Bentancur, Aouar, Tonali, and Zaniolo would have so much promise as our midfield for the next 5+ years.

Juventus have been outstanding in the league for years but in Europe we were always a defensive team, tactical and conservative. We've been built on solid defence and traditionally happy to defend a single goal lead for most of the match.

The CL winning teams are most often those with very attacking philosophies so we had to go for someone like Sarri. Yes it was always a risk but in order for us to change our style, we needed to take the risk sometime. It's clear that getting our players to play 4-3-3 is beyond some of them, they just don't have the attributes so overhaul the squad for Sarri. I don't want to blame motivation because I've never been to his training sessions but our squad is not made for Sarri's style. Pep and Klopp would be in the same position, how do you get one dimensional players like Matuidi, Pjanic and Rabiot to suddenly become those all action players? How can you expect Dybala to be a target man?

I see 2 options. 1, Sarri goes all defensive and back to a familiar style that the players like but this is no Allegri to perform miracles in the CL. 2, stick with it and force a change in our play. It might be frustrating and fruitless but it might be great for us moving forward. Say Sarri goes at the end of the season, do you go for Inzaghi and his safe bet 3-5-2 or do you risk another attacking coach to try and change our style?

I'm not happy with us this season but look at the bigger picture.
Inzaghi a safe bet and defensive coach? Lol

His Lazio teams have scored like crazy almost every year he’s been there.

Sarri’s Chelsea was dreadful, tedious, and inept offensively last year. Should have been a warning sign, but our management missed it entirely because his Napoli teams scored a bunch for 2 years.

Agreed, Lazio have scored the second most amount of goals in Serie A and conceded the least. Only Atalanta have scored more, but they have that full on attack strategy

They also led the league in goals with 89 in 2017-18. But had no defence that year. Looks like Inzaghi has found better balance this year. I’d like us to try a big name foreign coach, but if we’re sticking with Italian, and Max won’t return, it’s Inzaghi or Gasperini for me.

@DAiDEViL

Rather ironic to see the coach who we were promised never needed to rely on individual brilliance because his attacking tactics and quick passing triangles were so amazing, bitching about his players not having enough individual brilliance to beat their man as a reason for losing another trophy. :lol3:

We can't and shouldn't fire him now obviously. He has until the end of the season to see if he can get a gameplan working, and if he can learn to adapt and adjust to situations. If he can't, and we end up losing to Lyon and ceding the Scudetto, he needs to fuck off. Simple!
He probably should be fired, to salvage the season. We just played 180 minutes of knockout football against mediocre 10 man Milan and Napoli, far worse sides than ours, and we couldn’t score a single goal. Hardly created a decent chance in two matches. Napoli killed us and would have won easily in regular time if not for Gigi. With Ronaldo, Dybala, Costa, Ramsey, etc etc. Yes, our midfield is ballsack, and we need to sort that issue out, but even a semi-competent coach could work around that against such mediocre opponents. It’s too bad the Lyon match is still a ways off, because it’d be nice to see us play it soon and see if this clown can salvage the season there and if not sack him and try to hold on for the scudetto with a new manager.

tbh I am still much more triggered by how bad the team was pre corona virus then I am over the two scoreless games.

The earlier parts of the season lacked the excuse and we were still utter shit on a frequent basis.

If we were on track for the Scudetto it'd be foolish to sack him in the middle of the season. We are not however. We know it is not going to work long term and even short term there are doubts.

But I'd wait for a few games at least in order to see if the players still have enough pride in them to show something worthwhile as a revenge. If it doesn't work out sack him to salvage the Scudetto and the CL run when there's still time.

Yeah, if anything this just reminded me of how awful we were pre shut down

Any other league and we would be trampled at 4-5th in the table

I have a feeling the players are also starting to turn against him. I hope it’s the case, not usually a fan of player revolts, but this guy has zero idea so far, doesn’t have the charisma or authority to stamp his mark on this team. We need drastic changes ASAP.

‪Players are aware that something is wrong and they are trying to help Sarri in every way. Now it is important to recompact the team because what really missed against Napoli was first of all the lack of motivation. @guido_vaciago

‪There is a huge disappointment and annoyance between Juve management and Agnelli is the angriest one but Sarri does not risk to be sacked. The coach will be judged on the results of the next two months. @guido_vaciago ‬

Everyone who thinks our football might become better next season is delusional. 12 months further and we still haven't found a formation or starting 11. Seems like he's just simply lost.
