Oh my god what an amazing accomplishment. Everybody knows that beating powerhouse Lokomotiv with late Dybala and costa magic is one of the highest honors a manager can receive, and is certainly a great indicator of what’s to come.
You conveniently forgot Atletico and Leverkusen, two respectable opponents.

You didn’t actually forget though, it just doesn’t suit your agenda.

Also, is Lokomotiv really any weaker than say, Young Boys?

 agenda? My agenda is that temporary milestones count for nothing especially if you remember how they were achieved, hence my comment on Loko. In 2 seasons that we went to CL final our group stage campaign was unremarkable.

Why do you care so much about the group stage anyway? The only thing that matters is getting through the group stage. Getting first place is nice, but you can get screwed with the draw even with that.
If Sarri gets us to the final, then his record can be compared to Allegri, not before.

How do you compare our style of play under Sarri as compared to Allegri?

Yep. Many teams who went on to win the CL played a mediocre group. Because it matters shit all, just get through somehow.

But you have to understand them, it's one of the few mini scudetti left for the kneepadders. That they rate Leverkusen goes to show just how desperate they are.

Some poster I know, name rhymes with knobist, has been banging on and on about how results are less important than scoring 3 goals a game

It was in the previous coaches bread so who cares, right?
Sarri’s system takes time and at the moment we need results. We beat Fiorentina with 3 goals, u guys were unhappy since we didnt create much. Today we hit the post 3 times and Dybala misses sitters and you’re unhappy with 2 goal lead.

We were playing at home against the 19th place team, who were down to 10 men for 55 minutes of the match.

Takes time to put in impressive performances in Matches like this :lol3:

If he had failed to win this one, he should have been shit-canned on the spot.

Yeah I completely forgot Empoli game when we were dominated at home. They got relegated though.

2nd consecutive match using last year's tactics. Seems Cuadrado is back in midfield. More classic 4-4-2 defensive shape and less pressing.

Someone told him to change. Players or president.
also more directness and forward passing.

Why are we playing worse than we were in October then?
Also, Juve always need results. That will never change.

Why are you bringing up Allegri. He got sacked. We’re talking about Sarri here and the team performing like shit under him in every game against tough opponents for the last 2 months.

Lazio x2, Napoli, Verona, Milan

But please celebrate beating 10 man Brescia in Turin some more. :baus:

Allegri got sacked for playing the same kind of football last season, so is he saying that Sarri should be sacked too?

Well our midfield is not functioning. They are used to play wide to wingbacks and cross the ball and hope for the best. And Ramsey and Rabiot have not settled yet. While Pjanic has been as usual like Costa. While the later gets injured, the other one only show up in 10 percent of the matches. Bad planning.
