Possession isnt strictly offensive. Its a defensive measure as well. The stronger our pressing game is the more "risky" our final passes can be in order to get o good opportunity. Our pressing high is getting better and that to me is a huge indicator in our long term success.

Well, players are used to playing safe like that. Keep the ball or pass it back to defenders. Same as when we losing we start long balls and hope for the best. It will take time to change mentality of the team.

Agree. Checked that and they had 8 reserves out of 11.
This result means nothing. Great for match fitness and a good spectacle though.

They were on the edge of the relegation zone 3 weeks ago with their "A" squad. Now they are in 12th but with the 5th worst goal difference in the league. And this was their reserves. lol

The match against Cagliari was a much better performance given the better opposition.
