You are certainly been a lot happier ever since we have taken a few losses to an in-form Lazio side.
Imagine how much happier you would be if Juve didn’t top our CL group with 16 points, more than either Allegri or Conte ever achieved.

Again, it’s CL or bust with any coach. Imagine the expectations and criticism a Pep or Zidane would be put under if he was our coach right now. Losing twice to a weaker side is showing that you are being out-coached by someone no where near their caliber. I’d be seriously questioning their malfunction. As we all should be in this instance.
I still can’t get over the De Sciglio comments from earlier in the year, partly because of his shocking display during the weekend. Imagine if De Sciglio was, say, an American player. I doubt he would even play for the USMNT as he literally offers nothing going forward and isn’t even that great defensively. If he can follow tactics to a tee, great, but what player can’t do that? I don’t even know if he would play for DC United.
And that brings us to Sarri. This guy thinks MDS is a technical player. In what god forsaken sport is he a technical player? I think this is indicative of the same reoccurring problem with Italian managers. Everyone keeps saying these new guys are different but the same old shit ends up happening. Time to get a foreign manager.

New as in managing top sides with a “progressive” football approach. If Sarri is progressive, then I’m a goddamn Communist.
The change in their style was evident from the get go. Its effectiveness left a lot to be desired in the first season but you could see clear signs of progress stylistically over the course of the season.
Its not as if his City were performing similar to the worst parts of the pellegrini era for a full season and then the next season they suddenly started playing tiki taka and bulldozing teams. Our frustration thus far is the lack of progress in our performances from the lowest part of the Allegri era. If we were seeing improvement we'd be more patient and less anxious. No one is complaining that we are not seeing the finished article. We are complaining that we are not seeing progress towards a future finished article.
And FYI Pep did get a lot of heat that season.He silenced the doubters the season after. Who knows if Sarri will do the same.

I thought we brought this Peppinga in to play more attractive free flowing football. We're still boring as fuck to watch, and even more porous than before.
You clearly don't have an eye for progressive, attacking, possession-based football because that's what we're playing since he's taken over. The difference from the last 5 seasons is night and day. So what if we let in 1 or 2. We're retaliating by netting 4-5 per game on avg anyway. Plus, we cruised through the group stages in historic fashion. If that doesn't objectively/statistically guarantee Juventus the CL title this year then I don't know what does.
This is great and all, but pepe spent 100 million just on rbs Walker and danilo. And another 60 million on Lb Mendy. And that's just their fullbacks. 160 million. Obviously they were going to improve when you can throw money like that on players.
If you told Sarri here is Salah and de bruyne for your team we'd also improve massively.

Well we told him here is De Ligt, Demiral, Ramsey, Higuain and Rabiot on top of the already world class squad your sacked predecessor had and we havent seen improvement yet. I dont know if he'd have fared any differently with Salah other than really depend on his individual talent to make something out of nothing the way Dybala, Higuain and Ronaldo are doing for us.
To be fair to Sarri, he had Allan, Hamsik, Jorginho at Napoli. That was the heart of his Napoli team.
Here, Paratici provided him an injury prone Ramsey and an underplayed Rabiot to fix our midfield problems. A midfield consisting of washed up has beens like Khedira and Matuidi and no-hopers like Can.
If Bentancur hadn't stepped up, our midfield would be in an even bigger mess then it is now.
