People actually think we’re capable of winning CL this year if we fail to beat a mediocre Inter with no depth for scudetto?

And all this because we eased through a group with two shitshow teams and a mediocre Atletico that is in 7th place in La Liga right now?

:lol3:

I love our results so far. Meeting the expectation. But we haven’t played a decent side yet.

Sure but for the sake of the argument if those were the options, would you refuse it? Id take CL win and wouldnt care who wins Serie A this year
i'd prefer the cl of course, but it doesn't mean that we have to handle the scudetto to inda. also, it's an unrealistic question, it makes no sense.

Of course I was exaggerating, I don't want that shit team winning anything but if it comes down to us giving it all in the CL and setting it as top priority this season I'm all for it.
If we lose scudetto to Inter of all teams because we focus on CL, and then don’t win CL because we have a mediocre midfield and too many injury prone players... :baus:

Yeah, CL is almost random, too many variables so you cant really let scudetto go for the sake of trying to win CL. But if by some miracle we win it, I wouldnt care much if we lost title..

I dont think we are, not with this midfield and Berna as tq but in this case Id like to be proven wrong. It wasnt an easy group, remember the comments after the draw? ;) And yet we have 5 wins and a draw....

It's not black and white like that. We didn't lose two CL finals because our main focus was on winning Serie A, there were other reasons. I'm Just saying I'd take the risk this season and switch the focus to the CL.

This was one of the more tougher groups on paper.

If you're going by league standings, this same shit Leverkusen is above Bayern in the Bundesliga table who destroyed their CL group. So judging by present league standings is not always a good indicator especially when there is more than half of the season to play for.

I will give credit to Sarri for winning the CL group more comfortably than we have in a long time but I also think our players are more focused when it comes to CL games. Let's hope this continues.

the comments after the draw don’t matter, dude. Turns out we got a group full of teams that are much worse than they were last season. Atletico is trash so far.

And if we win CL I won’t care much about serie a either, though losing it to Inter would be gross, and being behind them domestically in the year we finally win CL would be pretty sucky.

Tougher? If Atletico is good, then it’s a normal difficulty group with two good team and two mediocre team. But Atletico has been rubbish this year so far.

And all the same I definitely give credit to Sarri for crushing it too. Fantastic group stage performance.

When was the last time we were so convincing in a group stage? Our CL form doesn't usually pick up until after the winter break.

What if it drops and everything is inverted now :scared:

I’m very positive this season regarding the CL. I think it’s the one.

That CR7, Higuain and Dybala cant play together is the biggest lie that Sarri tells himself or is being told to by others. Literally Bernardeschi does not birng shit to our game and there is not a chance in this world that we would play worse, or have problem when defending if Dybala starts instead of Berna. Ultimately, the point is to outscore your oponent and we these three up front we will do just that.

Exactly! When you have that kind of skill it needs to run wild out there. Yes it's nice to have a rested Dybala or Higuain coming on if we are trailing by 1 or need an insurance goal, but the hope is that we are already up by playing these 3 together.
