i hope a bear breaks down the door to Post Ironic's luxury cabin and then a moose shits on everything.
Lol. We don’t have moose on Vancouver Island. And no grizzly bears here either. The little black bears here are too wimpy to do that.

You’d be better off hoping a mountain lion or a pack of wolves makes a snack of me while I’m out hiking and climbing in the mountains. :scared:

isnt that the area where disembodied feet in shoes wash up ashore? and authorities have no explanation as to where they're coming from?

only an idiot thinks this simply ^

tbh im surprised that socialists like you and daidevil are so uncaring/ unsympathetic about folks with addiction issues.

lazy minorities wanna sit around on their asses shooting dice and having kids they cant afford since they dont want to work then youre all for raising taxes to pay their way cause "priviledge" but someone struggling with an addiction likely heavily influenced by past trauma or psychological issues and youre all for thinning the herd cause they asked for it.

fucking hypocrites
Relax. They are only talking from the very bottom of their pain, their brokenheart, currently they r like a woman in the middle of a divorce process, everything is gonna be biased for a huge level of emotions

Be gentle with them, you can be better than this... they r gonna be on track again in a couple of months

No need to be sad @Post Ironic. I'm sure the moose will have the decency to leave some bottles untouched.
In this case, I’m happy to share with a gentleman moose.

There’s an explanation for it in the article I just linked. I’d never heard of this before though lol. That’s hilarious.

You are simply wrong.

It doesn't matter one bit if it's Sarri or a random person i've never heard of before, my opinion stays the same. Not gonna care if you smoke yourself into an early grave.

Don't be mean, not all of us can be as cool as you are, for real... somes of us are simple cliché, trying to fill up those personal problems with some banal and stupid addiction: cigarette, alcohol, gamble, sex, videogame, drugs...

BTW I also think Sarri 60 cigarettes per day habit is disturbing but I don't judge him so hard, that's all

You couldn't have said it better.

It's so easy for people like Dai to judge others because they don't drink, smoke and/or have sex.

Quit from smoke addiction is something that can be achieveable. But the body of the smoker, their metabolism will change for a while.

They need to get through toxin release phase and this phase will make they feel that they are sick without smoking and smoking is "the medicine"

But if someone has strong willed then he will get through it

It's completely normal to not have any sympathy for a person who destroys their health and the health of people around them, even if it's past the stage of a deliberate choice and is just an uncontrollable addiction. You still can feel pity for this person though, but this is the feeling with almost zero warmth inside it. This is how many psychologically healthy grownups who don't need to justify their own flaws with sympathy for other people having the same flaws operate. There's no feeling of "supremacy" in it, it's nothing but a fairly unbiased pattern of identification of the facts of reality around you without redundant emotions clouding your thinking.

At the same time, it's not fair to say that those who smoke uncontrollably or have other heavy addictions are stupid. Often times they start it when they're just not informed or mature enough, and at the point when they're able to make an informed choice it's already transformed into an addiction which is very difficult to overcome. The willpower is not always enough, often it's defined on the biochemical level in your brain, and in this case some people are much more vulnerable than others, that's not their fault. Especially if it's tied to serious mental health issues which make them especially prone to alcohol abuse, etc., like bipolar disorder or borderline personality disorder, both of which are widespread disorders many people around us silently suffer from without us knowing about it. Shaming such people for alcohol or nicotine abuse - this is what being stupid is.

That said, you're not obliged neither to have sympathy for a heavy smoker nor to not have it, just don't be an asshole.

Its like feeling sorry for those people that get gored when they decide its a good idea to run with the bulls, i don't care if you do it, friends have done it, but if they get gored sympathy is not going to be the first emotion that comes to mind
