And responding to these issues by forming such harmful addictions is an idiot’s response. :p
only an idiot thinks this simply ^

tbh im surprised that socialists like you and daidevil are so uncaring/ unsympathetic about folks with addiction issues.

lazy minorities wanna sit around on their asses shooting dice and having kids they cant afford since they dont want to work then youre all for raising taxes to pay their way cause "priviledge" but someone struggling with an addiction likely heavily influenced by past trauma or psychological issues and youre all for thinning the herd cause they asked for it.

fucking hypocrites

Never really had to deal with addiction except for Juve, so I can't say.

My grandfather however was a heavy smoker up to his 40s. His physician told him he wouldn't meet him again unless he stopped and the next day he did.
Yeah there are stories of people stopping cold turkey. It's rare and has more to do with motivation (someone/something) than strong will or a combo of both.

Think it's more of a depth issue than a hypocritical socialist issue. Summed it up with simply.

Because you know that Sarri’s smoking addiction is due to past trauma and psychological issues? Maybe you should offer your services in unpacking that trauma for him.

And please. I have exactly zero sympathy for lazy, entitled morons who don’t want to work, nor for those who claim white privilege, etc is the reason for why they can’t get ahead.

I'm not sure you need to have any underlining psychological issues to be addicted to nicotine and smoking. It's a two faceted addiction, a physical and a habitual one. Changing your habits is fairly easy, but getting rid of decades long physical addiction is certainly no easy task.
