Why do people have to make this about beautiful vs ugly football.

The truth is that CL winning teams play at least decent football in terms of style. Ugly CL wins are fluke wins alla Chelsea.
There is no "beautiful" or "ugly" football, there's simply just football. Chelsea won on merit playing football just like Barca did. People have created these funny stereotypes about how to win, when in fact every single CL winning team in my lifetime has been different. People just don't understand the diversity of styles in football. Making it all black and white makes it easier to cheer for the "right" kind of football.

Only complete ninnies think we didn’t play attractive football in 14-15 and 16-17 while making our CL finals runs. 16-17 in particular we smashed everyone we played in CL before the final, with dominant and attractive football.

Agree to a certain extent. The CL final years under allegri saw us play good football. By far not the most attractive but quality football that most appreciated. Nonetheless we lost both finals to teams that did play attacking football that was much more attractive. We were the second best team in both campaigns.

People need to get over Allegri already. He was a good coach for a period of time but failed to deliver when it really mattered. If Sarri delivers CL glory this season, he would be a bigger juve legend IMO. Let's see how it goes.
If Sarri manages even 50% of what Max delivered us he'd be a great success, that's how brilliant Max was here.

I disagree when it comes to Real. They played pragmatic football, solid at the back, never actually going all out or dominating opponent through possession based football.

Stating the obvious. Of course there are a lot of different styles. No team plays the same game.

Sure, Chelsea deserved their win. What I meant by fluke is that they're one of the few teams that managed to win the CL playing ugly defensive football.

Most CL winners in recent years play at least some type of attractive football to the eye. You can name Barcelona's possession football, Bayern and Liverpool's high press, Real Madrid's ability to break through pressure with quick passing.

And I'm sure Agnelli agrees that there's such correlation.

Report: Sarri back for Napoli
By Football Italia staff
sarri-1907-down-epa_1_0.jpg

Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri is reportedly hopeful of making his Serie A debut against
former club Napoli this weekend.

Sarri was initially down to miss the Saturday showdown as he was still being treated for a
bout of pneumonia. However, La Stampa writes there is ‘optimism’ about his presence in
the dugout against Napoli.

That is because he is recovering ‘quickly’ and does not want to miss the clash, having
already skipped Juve’s last two games against Triestina and Parma. The Coach will learn
whether he gets the all-clear no later than Friday.

In the meantime, the 60-year-old was spotted at the Old Lady’s training ground on Monday
afternoon in good spirits, signing autographs and taking selfies with fans.
