What has Inzaghi won. Don’t get me wrong, he could turn out to be the best ever but and it’s a big BUT.
Inzaghi has been coaching for like 5 years, man. And has managed to win a Coppa Italia, and beat Juventus twice for the Supercoppa. What more are you expecting from him at Lazio? If he manages to beat us to the scudetto this year, that would be incredibly impressive.

Anyways, he’s a very promising young coach, and there is, of course, a good risk he could fail at a big club, but I’d rather have gone for a young guy like him this past summer than the stubborn 60 year old mule we hired.

Nothing wrong with Deschamps at all, btw. He’d be a solid choice.

After hearing his post match interview it seems he’s more fixated on the ball, rather than his players.
He also seems to be confused about the difference between training ground practices and actual games. A touch of dementia perhaps? :touched:

On the bright side he took my mind off Coronavirus outbreak today. Thank you Sarri!
The Sarrislowma Virus is more virulent and infectious than anything Juventus have witnessed in the past decade.

In 2010, we hired another old fart with 0 credentials, but we were in a different place back then.

IMO, this summer Agnelli should try to convince ZZ. Nothing to lose if he didn't want the job. If he loved Madrid so much, fuck him. Speaking of love, Gasperini was at Juve at the age of 9, then he became Juve youth coach in 1994. I think he would dream to coach Juve one day. Don't know why he failed at Inter when that season just started. But don't write Gasperini off for Juve coach position.

I've gone past being annoyed at all of our boring matches to pure apathy now.

For the first time ever I felt absolutely nothing seeing Juve concede in a CL knockout game

What an unlikable team we have. Our midfield has absolutely nothing between them, our full backs look like they should be plying their trade for Udinese and our once infamous defence is just plain average now. I can not stress enough how pathetic, weak, slow and technically inept our midfield is.

I don't enjoy seeing these players play anymore. We should have rebuilt after Cardiff. If Ronaldo wasn't here we'd look scarily similar to THAT Del Neri team just with occasional Dybala magic sprinkled on top of mediocrity.

Hardly an unlikeable team. The individual quality at our disposable would be the envy of most teams. It’s just making it work as a cohesive unit, which Sarri hasn’t been able to do. I dont think he has figured out our best 11 yet, which is a large part of the problem.

Exactly

You can't change the formation every week and expect results

You need to give players continuity

Envy of most teams!? Certainly not any of the ones competing for the CL.

None of our full backs, midfielders or wingers (CR isn't one) make it into a Liverpool, Bayern, City, Barca, PSG, Madrid team.

Sarri not figuring out our starting XI? I dislike him but that's partially because we don't really have a definitive best XI because picking 3 midfielders, 2 full backs and a winger or #10 from the shit show of a selection we have is an impossible task.

Every combination possible has serious flaws because the foundation of this juventus side has been built on market opportunities and not players we actually need.

It's a very unlikable, soft, weak and uninspiring team to me overall.

Our midfield is nowhere near world class

Our RB is an absolute dud

We don't have world class wingers either

I am pretty sure any elite club looking at our squad wouldnt look at it with envy

We just have good depth spread out through different positions but the quality over the starting eleven leaves a lot to be desired. Not to mention half of them are over 30...

Sarri is to blame - not the players. This team is full of champions that have won near enough everything.

He’s moved the best defence in Italy and possibly Europe to a zonal marking system that they have never played before. He plays a 433 that heavily relies on quality wingers (which we don’t have). He seems to think the only thing important is to pass the ball quickly but has no grasp of how a game is playing out and isn’t tactically intelligent enough to use any other strategy.

This manager is either inept or still working for Napoli. I’ll celebrate when we get knocked out of the CL because it is everything we deserve for the disgraceful decisions our management have made over the last 18 months.

I look forward to hearing this board or manager come out with ‘we are on target to achieve our goals’ over the next few weeks. Sarri is useless and is a terrible match for this fantastic football club.

The players are completely fine. It's a matter of team cohesion, tactics and training. All three are the responsibility of Sarri - who instead is busy blaming the players for not understanding his concepts.

Sarri: “I will keep working on passing the ball faster sooner or later this concept will get into their heads. I continued to tell them this & there were many players who were moving the ball too slowly & therefore getting into the wrong positions.”

Honestly I'd take just about anyone to see us through to the summer.

I think Allegri would come back and Poch would jump at the chance.
We can bring any coach we want, if Juve DO NOT bring the players the coach wants, it would be for nothing. Call me crazy, but i believe Sarri that he has a problem with our players' mentality and how they are slow in every aspect of their games. With exception to CR7, every single player in our team would rather pass the ball to Sczesny than try a through ball forward to Cuadrado or CR7. Our players lack football inteligence, they are all brawns and no brains and Sarri's ideas require players comoletely oposite of the ones we have.

Do you guys seriuosly believe that if we bring Pep tomorrow, can make Rabiot, Matuidi, Bentancur, Danilo and Alex Sandro better players? Do you really think that he can play a free flowing passing game with Bernardesci, Matuidi or Rabiot?

Please....

I think we need to compare against a team like Bayern. Our first team is not as good mainly because of the midfield. Our bench is not as good, its a fact.

Secondly, we can't play 4-3-3 and every time we do we register a loss excluding relegation teams. The absolute truth is that we can't play Sarriball but we can play bland, boring but solid Juve style. We don't have Sarriball players, that's a fact and Sarri should just go back to how we played in the first half of the season.

Apparently Bonucci and Pjanic were telling players off, Pjanic for sure should ride the bench for his pathetic performance. We need to take a step back to the 4-3-1-2, reintegrate Matuidi and Khedira and give Ramsey a good run. Only De Ligt, CR7 and Dybala have been good for us, Bentancur has promise.
