I wouldn't be so sure about that. We struggled to win the league just two seasons ago against a weaker Sarri's Napoli who choked in the end.

I'd like to see how good Allegri's team would be having no Chiello and no world class replacement for him in the starting XI.
And who was the coach when they choked?

Honestly I don't even know what the point you are trying to make is. Is it that Sarri is a better coach than Allegri? Or that Allegri's squad was stronger?

Either way we don't seem like we will agree and rather than this thread turn into a back and forth between us I think we can agree to disagree.

He wishes we could go back and remove Chiellini from the last five years so we could see how much better Sarri is than Max. What a bizarre thing to want as a Juve fan.
Surely even he has to have noticed something's not right by now he just can't admit he was so wrong and its nearing Badass levels.

We dominated MU, I have no fucking idea how that match did not end 4:0.

We lost to Young Boyd not Valencia.

Sorry I meant Young Boys.

I'm not defending Sarri BTW; I just think he's only partly the blame. The biggest problem is our midfield, I don't think any coach would make that big of a difference with what we have.

we lost 3 of our last 5 away games :shifty:
Now I have doubts that we can come away with a win against spal .
For the first time in 10 years I am contemplating taking a break from watching juve and just come back after 6 7 weeks and hopefully by then we have improved .
That's just how bad our football really is .
Some season, huh.

We invited pressure when we went 1-0 and put on Barzagli if I remember...

Im a massive Allegri fan BTW, however not even could save us with such a shoddy midfield.

Sarri was their coach and just being above Juventus at any point of the season was a massive accomplishment for that Napoli side. Sarri being in charge is a non point as he already massively over achieved prior to the choke. The fact that before he arrived they were 5th and after he left when they were taken over by one of football's greats they finished with less than 80 points illustrates this clearly.

My main point is that if Sarri wins the league and doesn't get ko'd by underdogs in the CL like Allegri had, then he would've had a superior season to Allegri's last year at the club. Aside from that we've delved into different topics throughout the discussion.

agree to disagree

Hiring Sarri didn't work out. Next year please upgrade the midfield and try Zizou because time is running out for Ronaldo meaning we pay a lot for him but didn't win the CL. At least his name being more $$$ for us but still wasting such a legendary player.
