Still not sold on this guy. He's so stubborn. Also, he lacks class and style so that ultimately counts against him. He just doesn't seem to fit our culture; it's like hiring a homeless hobo to teach at a top Prep school. It will eventually go to shit - this ain't Hollywood.

Having said that, we are getting results (with the exception of the two Lazio games and that lethargic performance against Napoli). The performances have been mostly underwhelming (40 goals scored and 21 conceded for an average of 1.9 goals scored and 1 goal conceded will attest to that) and we only have the 4th best attack in the league and 3rd best defense (so much for Sarrismo or Sarriball or whatever the fuck you want to call it).

Obviously, we're still in January and everything is decided in April/May so we should wait until then. I think we'll win Serie A by 5-7 points, get destroyed in the CL Semis, and the board will reiterate how happy they are with him. The bright spot? We'll probably have to endure him for only 2 more seasons after that :D :b81:

Hopefully, by 2022 or 2023 at the latest, we have a new coach and a new board.

I still cant find a single thing that I like about that old styleless man, but whats fair is to give him the whole season to prove himself.

And after the season end it will be very, very easy to judge him - all he has to do to prove that he is better than the previous coach and an actual upgrade is to top Allegri`s debut season, meaning winning a treble is the only way for Sorri to be considered an upgrade and worthy of Juventus, simple as that ;)

A domestic double with a loss in the Champions League final would equal Allegri`s debut season, so after being on par in the only thing that actually maters - silverware - fans and the club leaders can compare them in whatever way they want and like.

Anything less than a domestic double and a Champions league final means that Sorri is an obvious downgrade to Allegri and needs to get the fuck out of this club immediately and be replaced with someone better, which considering Sorri`s level wouldnt be that hard to find... Easy peasy... :D

Calma.

If we win the league (which we probably will) and we reach the quarter final of the Champions League (which we probably will, Lyon isn’t that good). Then Sarri will have done exactly what Allegri did in his final 2 seasons here.
Some top tier rationalizing here.

If we lose the title to Lazio he wil say “of course im not sad. At least inter didnt win it”.
"Lazio were in such great form, i dont think anybody could have beaten them. 2nd place is nothing to be ashamed of in one of Europe's top leagues but, unfortunately, we inherited a winning team so the expectations are high."

Wrong. An actual upgrade is to top what Allegri would've offered in 2019/20 and forward, we werent gonna magically bring in summer 2014 Allegri.

Suuure, anything you need to fit your agenda. You, and by you I mean every Sarri boy here, all 12 of you, know that a treble is impossible task, especially for someone of Sarri`s level, so you decide to lower your demands to just one trophy and wait for a hail mary and a 1/2 final in CL so that you can defend your ridiculous, disrespectful and ungrateful attitude towards Allegri in his last season and justify every insult you shot at him, quickly forgetting the major success he brought and the new heights he took this club to.

In every aspect possible Sarri is a downgrade to Allegri, both Max and the club made the right decision to part ways, 5 years in modern football is more than a lot to stay at one team, especially 5 years filled with so much success and silverware. The choice for a replacement was a terrible one, a world class club needs a world class coach or a young prospect with potential to reach world class level, not an old incompetent, uneducated and moaning hobo whos only accomplishment is, get that - losing and failing beautifully...
