Win today and he had a great first half of a season. Topped the CL group, still top of the league (wasnt it for Conte we would have secured the title by now) and winning the suppercoppa. Obviously we can improve a huge amount but by the looks of it things are slowly starting to fall in place with Rabiot getting more minutes, the front 3 clicking and slightly more stability in defence (still not good enough and our biggest weakness). Even though we had at least some reason to be slightly concerned at the beginning of the season, it was a little bit naive to think we would tank it.
Max would have brought an entire new setup and btfo Lazio 3-0. Monkey Sarri never adapts or learns. Barely even reacts
I said this last season and some people got mad at me, the rest of this season is going to be exactly like this. Nothing is going to change unless we fix our most glaring weakness, midfield. Bentancur is not going to save us and we're probably not going to make any buys in the winter. We don't have the players necessary to play how Sarri wants, just like we didn't for Allegri. You can't even get mad about it, because you know that's how it's going to be until May.
