that being said, we're completely out of fullbacks, and it's probably due to the large number of injuries that some of these guys even got a minute. those injuries might even force him to play with a 3-man backline, something he never does.

sandro should absolutely stay healthy. drop of form is inevitable for him, still, he's playing without substitute.

Only if we had some young LB like Spinazzola or Pellegrini...

:fab2:

swapping spinazzola for a nobody that we loaned out immediately was arguably the single most idiotic move of the post-vidal era, and there's some competition. we should have simply accepted city's swap offer for cancelo in june (which we accepted anyway) and sell rugani instead of spina.

Pleased that he is rotating players, I mean with injuries he doesn't have a choice but he is even rotating players that get used a lot. That's nice. He also even tried some tactical flexibility :touched:

Something to be excited for, right guys? Right?

A little.

I for one have been waiting for the matches, something I didn't think I'll do when I first knew about the bum.

The fact that he used 4-3-1-2 and rotated players in the past couple of games has definitely been a nice surprise.

Injuries have definitely forced his hand tho.

Paratici’s horrendous transfer work has left us bloated in the CM department and light in the FB department and that is already starting to bite us in the ass.

That's called team work. Paratici's short comings together with Sarri's stubbornness is turning out into a good outcome.

at this point might as well play him as a fullback since we have none left and he's still getting paid. He likes to defend, strong, good in the air, has great work rate and good stamina.
