i don't blame him for wanting out when marrone is ahead of you in the pecking order.

club could have told him to be stfu and be more patient. he was always going to get more chances in the 2nd part of season
then again he was a heavy burden on our wage structure, still hope we sign Diakite it only makes logical sense that for someone who is going to be free in the summer that we bring him in now for next to nothing, and we actually have a 'vice chiellini' and not these hybrid left back/midfielder turned cb shit

You guys are so harsh. This guy was one of the best wingbacks in the world and chased by the top teams in Europe before we signed him. Everyone here was fapping over the signing of Isla. And now people question his signing and the price? Hindsight, hindsight..:sergio:
Actually I never understood this signing. Neither Giovinco's and to some extent Asamoah, I thought Asamoah was brought to play in the middle.

I had really high hopes for Isla...I remember him as a warrior and as a player that really helped his team push forward by running down the flank, beating his marker and then providing quality crosses into the box

He has been shockingly poor ever since he joined us...has made 0 impact!

He should be given until the end of the season, given his injury was severe, but if he plays like this for a whole season i do not see how he will not be turned into anything better than a really expensive bench/rotation player

What is worrying and why I think there is no hope in seeing the player everyone has been talking about is that he seems somewhere else the entire game. He doesn't look like he is playing a team sport.

Dump this idiot back in Udine, what a pathetic excuse of a winger. Pirlo would play him wide open, with miles of empty space and he still failed to put in one good cross yesterday..

Someone yesterday in the match thread described what this guy always does.Vidal passes to him, he barely tries to beat his man, he fails, and he passes back to Arturo OR he tries to cross and hits the body of a defender.ALWAYS

FGS even Ranieri's son Molinaro was playing better with us, and i mean it.

And i don't buy the "he was injured and missed the pre-season" excuse anymore. If this was the case, he would have shown some potential. He took many chances and he showed absoluteley nothing.I don't deny that he was great for Udinese, buy maybe he can't make it in the top stage...

Yep. It often does look like he's not even aware of what he's doing. Very odd, to say the least.

But I won't give up hope just yet. Hell, it took me this long to give up on De Ceglie, so this guy still has some time left to impress :D
