He also is only defender that constantly gets handball penalties.

How many have chiellini and bonucci and Danilo given away since var. I remember maybe one that bonucci did.

Also he got s red card. How many cb defenders have we seen sent off in recent times? I csnt remember any.

So IMO the penalty is the right call regardless of it being from close range since the ball was going on target. However, my issue is that Italian referees aren't consistent with these calls. They don't have clear guidelines that they stick to every single game.

Also, the second yellow card is just excessive. Not every hand ball is a bookable offense, specially if it was from a very close range and unintentional.

de shit lost all his focus. can't wait for summer to take that next step.
Seriously I think in different scenario we shouldn't sell, but in our current situation, if someone pays close to 100 m it's no brainer. With him gone we could contract two top players or even 3 if we do it wisely. It's like 60m plus Valente plus the amortization saved and big contract.
The problem is of course the same, do we really trust the current management to choose the right options? Probably not, but if that's the case then we already are a lost case. This team needs striker, midfielder, LW and LB plus De Ligt replacement if he leaves. This is just too much.

it was a penalty because his hand wasnt in a natural position, it was raised.

You would need 3 new CBs because you can't depend on Bonucci or Chiellini to stay healthy and we don't want to rely on Rugani to be a starter. This team's problem is asset management. We had the replacements and sold them off.
