I think he would suit us even with Ranieri as our coach. He has been good for a year and a half and i think he would be best option to buy to help out our defence untill summer when he can be back up if we sign some WC CB.I doubt he would be expencive.Anyway he`s much better then Mellberg and that Lucchini guy.

So what if he`s from Roma?Do you think we should just buy players from Real,Manchester,Arsenal etc?Real bought player from Porto this summer.Porto man...so what?No matter if he`s good player.I don`t get your logic tbh.

his logic might be wrong, but do u really think FC Porto is such a small club?
come on!! don't be an idiot..

On-Topic
Ferrari is not worthy of this shirt..
It's time to stop wasting money on flops and do something everyone can agree to be right!!
If the most cunning plan in Secco's head is to get this guy, then somebody better tell him to rely on someone from the Primavera squad because we're not bathing on 100€ Bills at the moment!!

@KroniK

Jesus...I took Porto just as an example...his theory is just wrong.Big teams do buy from small ones.Lets just say why wouldn`t we buy Hamsik

im sorry but is there really a point in buying another average?
We will not sign any WC player untill the end of the season. And I do think that Ferrari is much better then the rest of the players that we are after.

Roma has a better team/material than we do right now,
many of their subs could be starters in Juve, Ferrari is the finest exemple, half of their midfielders too...
They are not in the second place for no reason!

of course there's nothing wrong bout getting players from teams lower down the table if they're good....

i may be coming on too strong against the guy coz of roma :pumpkin: but the few times when he gets to play he looks really dodgy, mistiming tackles after tackles and if not that then letting the strikers running rings round him. he looks no better than boumsong in this regard. there's a reason why he's a backup afterall IMO.

No better then Boumsong? :wth: You probably haven`t see him playing much last season. He played 40+ games , same as Mexes. His rating at the end of the season was on the same level as Chivu and Mexes.Yes , there`s a reason why he`s a back up there.Because Juan is very good form and doing great so far, same as Mexes.Last season he played more coz Chivu was LB and he played CB with Mexes.

Ferrari Flattered By Juventus Interest

Roma defender Matteo Ferrari is pleased that a club like Juve has shown an interest in signing him up, even though in the end he would prefer to remain at his current team.

Ferrari spoke to Sky Italia about the transfer rumours linking him to a move to the Old Lady.

"For me it's a new thing," the former Parma player declared. "Up until two days ago I didn't know anything.

"No one called me," he added. "I'm paid to be a professional until the end. But being courted by a great team pleases me."

In the end, Ferrari would like to remain in Rome, even though the capital club isn't said to be determined to hold on to him.

He added, "I'm a professional and I train well. If this is how things are, it's not my fault. I won't rule anything out, but I sent out some signals."

"I think that the club is trying to reach an agreement, but of course one must look at his own interests. It's not an economical matter, but one of respect. There are many things to settle, but I can't exclude anything," concluded Ferrari.
