Suárez started his professional career at Belgrano in 2005. He was Belgrano's top scorer in the Primera B Nacional Argentina in 2007–08. Due to his performances he attracted the attention of R.S.C. Anderlecht of Belgium.

In 2008 Suárez moved from Belgrano and completed his transfer to Anderlecht. He went on to establish himself as a key member of the Anderlecht side contributing many goals and assists in the process, especially following the departure of the team's star player Romelu Lukaku to Chelsea in the summer of 2011.

We can't keep compromising on quality every summer. Moreover, we shouldn't be looking at bench/depth options in attack, until we actually get a proper RWF and a striker/forward to replace Matri.
