Some even thought we could topple Inter. Now the title race is over and with it, all that we hanged our expectation on. Though the Empoli home embarrassment was before the Inter match, when 1st was quite within reach? I help you with an excuse for that. They were looking ahead to Inter. Well a 7m manager needs to make sure that doesn't occur. Failed!

Yes. Not qualifying for champions league would be an abysmal failure. Just as winning the title would've been an astronomical achievement.

Securing cl is what the club wanted. It's what the club needs to be able to begin rebuilding. We'll go nowhere as a club if we can only buy players like Weah in the summer. Giuntoli has big work cut out for him. And not generating income from cl would put a big dent in our rebuild process.

There's a certain champion attitude that's missing. The most essential part of a successful squad. We're young. Inexperienced. With players that don't know what it actually takes to win a title.
It means having a consistency. And being able to pick themselves right back up when the wind starts to blow. Not crumble.
