Only one player you mentioned is able to play football like Napoli plays. I regret to inform you, but yes. Our "quality" players all have different qualities than playing the ball. You ain't putting Chiesa on that Napoli team and expect them to play the same.
Lobotka, Zielinski and Elmas are all better on the ball than any of our midfielders. That doesn't mean we don't have quality. Just a different one from playing the ball and passing between us.
It really isn't complicated to see that even Guardiola couldn't make this team pass the ball around.

No-one can take over the shit teams Allegri is producing. Some throaters use it as an excuse for Allegri that the teams he coach sooner rather than later become evaluated as SHIT and in need of overhauls every summer. But its the product of having him "coach" and work with our scouts and sports directors. Thats why we need the fraud streeted so badly. Everything from squad building down to fitness, injuries, tactics, technical ability SUCKS.

Sarri was let go prematurely because the old heads didn't want him, give Sarri this team and he would be better to suited to it now as opposed to then.
Pirlo was nonsensical, firstly to hire him and then secondly to let him go after a season. If Pirlo was ever going to work it would have to have been tested over more than one year.
It depends on the characteristics of the players. I didn't think I would have to explain such a basic thing. There are a lot smaller teams with lesser quality than ours that are better suited to hold onto the ball than we are. That doesn't mean they're better than us. Technically, mind you, we're second. But yes, there are worse players, in lesser teams, that are better than our midfielders in passing the ball.
Would we be better off with these players? No. Would we be better suited to pass the ball around? Yes.
Elmas, Zielinski and Labotka are all better than Locatelli or Rabiot at passing the ball. All of them are better technically. However, we're built to sit back with players like Rabiot and Locatelli. That's their strenght. You don't put Locatelli and Rabiot in Napoli's team and expect them to play the ball around like Zielinski or Elmas do.
