I already listened to is pre match and thought it was a strange thing to say. They compared him to Spalletti for the record.

I don’t think it’s in his best interests to run his mouth like that, if anything it makes him look like a fool even more after yesterday, even if it was ment funny or not.

Tbh often I do see saying things that don’t make sense as a good indication if coaches starting to lose it or not. Might not be in this specific case as it wasn’t a football related answer, but their words do count.
How do you equate a bit of self-deprecating humour to "running his mouth"?

Think it's pretty normal for the media to compare coaches in a game of 1st vs 2nd, especially as they are both Tuscan. What else are football journalists going to talk about?

It is meaningless arguing with Allegri haters.

We are fucked either way. He gets sacked and we miss out on the CL. We make the CL and he stays on. Either scenario is fucked.
thing is that journos know nothing. the same papers were sure that the club already lined up the alternatives some embarrassing defeats, and they even knew who the alternatives were. then agnelli said that the coach can't do shit if our players won't make a single tackle, so the journos learned that allegri's job was safe the exact same moment than the general public

Big "told you so" moment!
All of us, that are clear that allegri is biggest fraud in football, where stating that he plays youngsters only because of the injuries of his pets. Throaters where praising him and his "expertise" to introduce young players and change climate in the team.
Wow, so after decade of saying Allegri sucks, even during our scudetto runs, you finally feel vindicated.

As for Spaletti's hand shake, where was his sportmanship when they lost to Spartak? He flat out denied to shake hands after defeat.

It's not true. I'd take (yet another) year in EL as longs as we hire a competent coach who works on ALL phases of the game with more modern approach. The downsizing will be continued regardless of the results, we simply need to shed the dead weight and start afresh with more hungry players. Perhaps it'd be easier for mercenaries to leave in this case and we definitely need a new project, the current one is completely dead and hopeless.

isn't it funny the throaters say the players are bad average but the coach got a bunch of super players for his team?

2 wc winners
1 wc finalist
1 defender of the year last season
1 young striker of the year in 2020/2021
1 europa league assist man of the season
one chiesa best italy wide player
2 promisisng and hungry youngsters in mirretti and fagioli

but the football played is serie b level. how, how is this possible? how is it possible to have so many good players, and not use them to thier potential.

how do you have an aggressive attacking player like chiesa and di maria and ask them to play like this?
2 wc winners -> one of them is Paredes and the other one was mostly injured
1 wc finalist -> who played because Pogba and Kante got injured last minute
1 defender of the year last season -> playing alongside the likes of Rugani or Gatti.
1 young striker of the year in 2020/2021 ->That's almost 3 years ago
1 europa league assist man of the season -> 6 assists. Waw
one chiesa best italy wide player -> injured all season
2 promisisng and hungry youngsters in mirretti and fagioli -> NC

You missed Euro 2021 winner Bonucci and 2016 most expensive player in history Pogba.

On paper, the current squad is not the worst one we've ever had. We actually have some very good players.
It's obvious that the players share the blame, and we have several players out with injuries. Our midfield sucks and we can blame management and covid all we want. But it's incredible that this team cannot put more than 2 passes together, is unable to gel, plays without any game plan, has to defend en masse against the bottom teams. Whose fault is this?
Allegri IMHO.

Getting SMS (or hypothetically even Haaland for that matter) is unlikely to help as long as Allegri is coach.

We have money issues which as you know the CL will help assist. I understand your logic, and if one EL year season meant a rebuild that brought long term success then yes I agree. But right now I just dont think it would be best for the club to miss out on the CL. best scenario is not available meaning allegri out and play in the CL.

Alright I'll bite

2 wc winners -> one of them is Paredes and the other one was mostly injured
Paredes is good enough as a sub for a WC-winning squad but not for us? What are you saying?

1 wc finalist -> who played because Pogba and Kante got injured last minute
So when Rabiot fills in for an injured Pogba and gets to the WC final that doesn't count, but when he's in our squad filling in for the same injured Pogba and we suck it's not a relevant comparison? Excellent point well made

1 defender of the year last season -> playing alongside the likes of Rugani or Gatti.
Oh I see he was only great at Toro playing alongside Nesta and Gentile was he?

1 young striker of the year in 2020/2021 ->That's almost 3 years ago
And you're saying he's not playing as well now as he was then? Yes, that's the point we've all been making.

1 europa league assist man of the season -> 6 assists. Waw
How many did anybody else get? Fewer than 6 you say? That explains why he was the assist leader then.

one chiesa best italy wide player -> injured all season
And he came back and instantly livened up our team. A gaping hole for a whole year not fixed by Allegri- again that's what we're saying

2 promisisng and hungry youngsters in mirretti and fagioli -> NC
Nahhh come on give me the finisher, I'm almost there
