Why bring up Covid though?
Why not? You think that stopping for two months in between or literally not having a pre season makes things easier?

For example just look to the previous month where Allegri had 50 days to prepare a very underwhelming match against Cremonese. It definitely had impact on those seasons. No fans, missing player due to the virus, a strange pause where everything was closed, etc. And yes everyone had to face the virus but we tend to ignore the situation where they were working in, it didn’t make things easier.

I think the majority have long accepted he is staying until the end of the season, which was made even more concrete by the board resigning.
The fear we have is that he remains in place next season, in which case nothing will change and we continue enduring this turgid football and do not progress.

I'm convinced now more than ever that the throaters are just trolls. It's a waste of time arguing with them.
I said I would have sacked him after the terrible start, and I'd sack him again now. But it's not gonna happen, we learned that by now, so what do you wanna hear?

If people aren't worth a second of arguing with, then it's the negative nancies like you who spend their time overanalyzing fucking interviews and press conferences, interpreting god knows what into them.

The conflicting bullshit you write over the course of one week is laughable and you've proven to be deaf to facts again and again, just like the rest of the other revisionist bunch you hang out with.

Do some game of thrones cosplay to distract yourself.

Legit question.
Is there any forum member left that doesn't want Allegri to get sacked?
My money is on IlCapitano, but that's about it.
It was a harsh defeat, no doubt, but sacking him right now would lead us nowhere.
No decent coach would pick us up in the middle of the season with the problems we're having. And like it or not Allegri did bring us to a provisional 2nd place leading into this match.
He is not the root of the problem. The root of the problem was that we sacked him in the first place and bought Ronaldo, Rabiot, Ramsey on super high wages. It will take time to clean up the mess and if he makes top 4 again I have no problem with keeping him for another season.

There are 2 members for sure maybe 3. Fanboyism sees no logic. Their reality is different to ours.

But yeah, unfortunately @DAiDEViL is right. We can spend 24hrs of the day asking for his head , isn’t it clear enough by now that’s not happening???

And more over , if he makes top 4 which he will he’s getting another season :baus:

Let’s just call it like it is, this club has become a joke. A circus. It caught up with the rest of Serie A. This league is dead.

Allegri gets the benefit of the doubt for fucking everything. Even @JuveJay commented in the match thread that maybe the World Cup was to blame for our miserable drubbing against Napoli.

So, why not mention Covid? Why not mention other shit too, Pirlo should still be in charge today and we would probably be in much better shape. He never got the benefit of the doubt and that’s shameful.

Cause that's something you earn.

Is that so hard to understand.

He hasn't changed since 2016, same negative football with no attacking tactics. I think his style is more suited to smaller teams who play simple football to chase results but at the top level his football is ineffective.

He's done a worse job than Pirlo and that's saying a lot already.

He's too expensive to sack so we are kind of stuck with him.

That's the wrong kind of thinking that serves no one. Past success (which seems to be a long time ago now) shouldn't be taken as an indicator of the future, otherwise you end up being stuck in the past, which perfectly describes current JJ.
What I mean is, showing trust in a serial winning coach isn't the same as hoping for some youngster who never coached before to turn things around.

The I told you so's may be right now, but still nothing wrong with that approach, at least for me.

Yeah, nothing wrong with losing 5-1 to Napoli.

The I told you so’s will always be right, because we are. Allegri is antiquated old hack who isn’t getting results because his football is garbage. That’s a fact. Look at the tables.
