I remember the dark days of losing to Deportivo in Europe, Capello's Juventus looking limp and impotent against Liverpool and Arsenal, The Madrid humiliation in Cardiff, The shameful exit, finishing bottom in a group containing Hamburg and Panathinaikos, but nothing, NOTHING surpasses or usurps our performances in the CL this season.

Absolutely and utterly disgraceful!

conte is a great coach , he is a great team builder! he brings wining mentality ,he pushes the players to give the best version of them self , he is like the tony Robbins of football.
and he creates a system where each player knows what to do by heart.
Allegri on the other hand is more creative and sometimes he can mix and spice things up to make surprises , but its all good when you have a strong team with strong wining mentality and organized system... but he is unable to built a team and he is unable to install the crazy mentality of a winner.
as well conte has much more experience outside of italy which I'm sure would serve him well.
and he has the desire to improve , as much as he wasn't successful in the champions league , he is doing much better then us at the moment... and I'm sure he is not happy about his lack of success and he probebly will get better in that , he has a problem or player rotation , but then again he gets better , he always improve slowly but surly , can't say the same about Allegri..
His tothenam squad this year is not the best , he lost some good players and his reinforcement is our bentancour and Kulusvski , 2 players that didn't do that well here...

This Allegri and his staff going to Inter, freeing us from that contract, killing Inters fitness programm, requesting signings like Pogba, Paredes and di Maria, blurting out absolutely mediocre results with eye-bleeding football and plenty of humiliations and breaking club anti-records in the process?

Yeah, in that scenario he's a Juve legend for sure. To me thats the dream. Hell, send him to Milan afterwards.

Ahh yes, saying that your teams can’t be expected to beat teams like Galatasaray, Shaktar, Gladbach, Prague, Copenhagen, etc and progress out of CL group stage isn’t normalizing losing at all. What a fierce competitor to claim he can’t compete against such competition with so few euros. :baus: :lol2:
Imagine calling Buffon, BBC, Licht, MVP, Tevez mere 10 euros compared to others who are 100 euros

Not for me, it's all relative to the level of the team. This is a mediocre team and has been for 3 seasons. We were not expected to do anything, as dismal and unexpected as the Haifa loss was. There were far more disappointing results with teams we thought had a chance of winning the CL. This is reality checking in. How many reminders do people need that we are currently miles off being a competitive CL team? I wouldn't even back us to win the Piedmont Cup.

Last year we made it out of the group stage with a worse squad :boh:
No I was told we had a better squad last year because we lost world class Dybala, Morata, Bentancur and Kulusevski, not to mention De Ligt, the same group of players Allegro fanboys were/still are bashing week in week out for being 'trash'.

It was a worse group as well, but the Chelsea result was nice if a bit lucky. Maybe if we had Pogba and Chiesa available we could have run it closer this year but the reality is we've been extra shit to start the season.

Not exactly.
MDL-Bremer - Downgrade
RB - Cuadrado got older therefore not as good as last year`s Cuadrado.
Mid was shit then and its shit now.
Forwards - We had Dybala and Morata while now we have Milik and Kostic - Call me crazy but Dybala and Morata are stronger.

On paper we have a better team but when the players are not available you cant really count them in..
Di Maria barely played one or two games up till now.
Pogba was injured since he was signed.
Chiesa is also out and its important to remember it.
Im not giving Allegri excuses as I think we should have qualified regardless BUT saying he had an easier job this year is probably wrong.

As horrible as it was, somehow Capello giving no look to (I think) Camoranesi when he got subbed always stayed with me. It was against Arsenal I thought, squad discipline was a lot higher back then.

We also added Vlahovic in January. The only noticeable downgrade is missing Chiesa, players getting older is a problem tho, especially Cuadrado and Bonucci.

We need to think about next season already, as this one’s lost. But allegri won’t be here next season, so he should play what I tell him to. Meaning always playing those which could be a foundation:

a variant of:
Danilo Bremer gatti kostic
Locatelli fagioli
Cuadrado? Miretti illing jr
Vlahovic/milik

same problems with Max as with Simeone, he cant develop offensive players, they are stagnating under him. They had they prime year in almost same periods, but it seems that modern football has completely nulified their tactics and it doesnt work anymore. Once they lost their defence proffesors they cant do shit. Dinosaurs football should go to museum and so should those coaches.
