Overall yes. But it was an almost identical performance to when Lyon beat us under him. We went behind and never looked like change the game or getting out of 1st gear. That was the comparison I was making.

What did we spend? I thought is was near enough Nil on an already poor squad. Did you rate the mercato well?

Sarri and Pirlo had better squads in my opinion.

Not excusing Allegri though, just that all 3 have been poor.
We have a really rather expensive striker for starters. Don't get me wrong, I hated sarri and his pound shop tikka takka. Pirlo was basically a lamb to the slaughter - good on him for braving it when he was not experienced enough.

The team is terrified, slightest bit of difficulty and they collapse. We lack leaders and urgency. But it's always shit when you are struggling, everything looks worse. And it's even worse when you're playing a team who is flying. All in all very frustrating.
:agree:

Winning creates a winning mentality. Milan are a prime example and how they won serie A with a fairly average side. They built momentum in the second half of the prior season and carried it forward. In the same period we lost all of ours under Sarri and never recovered.

When you are on a poor run it is very hard to stop the rot. You need a bit of luck or quality, something to get a win and try to build something. Salernitana could have been it.

Either way we need something to change and I can't see what it could be other than changing coach or Chiesa/Pogba returning to lift the team.

That is absolutely not true. At no point tonight were we intentionally sitting back and defending. They could not breathe after 15 minutes, went from mistake to mistake, shit their pants under every bit of pressure.
After our 15 minutes of fury in the first half Benfica began pressing (a common occurrence in modern football, apparently foreign to Allegri), marked Paredes out of the game and we couldn't get out of our half.

Also, when literally every player is underperforming that is 100% on the coach.

Actively wanting Juve to lose should be a bannable offense imo, especially if you do it every game.
Wanting the club to be the laughing stock of Europe just so that you can enjoy your Allegri nostalgia is a much bigger crime than wanting Allegri the fuck out of this club as soon as possible so that we can get back on track as a football club. You have been proven wrong, swallow it, say sorry and dont ask for more random bans.

I was wondering what did he do this time? Can u update me please?
Aparently it's because he spammed multiple threads with Allegri out messages.
Although it's his opinion and must be respected going on and on, it becomes tiresome at some point.
Either way he has done his time so it's time for him to come back.
So unban him.

Spot on.

I was pretty impressed with Milan winning the league with average squad

An expensive striker with McKennie and De Sciglio creating for him. The squad is a mess and the mercato seemed to be ill thought out.

Yeah can't criticise Pirlo. It wasn't his fault he got offered the job and he would have to have been very brave/self assured to reject it.
