I give him 3 months to try to fix t6his mess, but at this rate he will not even reach 3 months.

truly abysmal
What rate? You do realize this is friendlies right, so take your own advice and give the man time, if after 3 months he's not doing well then let's can his ass. No need to get all menopausal and complain for the sake of complaining.

I was all for Max retuning 12 months ago. But have to admit, i expected more 12 months on. We look just as dumbfounded on field as we were 12 months ago. Sure friendlies mean fuck all, but can anyone here really say they are confident with this team and what he has them doing out on the field?

My biggest fear is the club will try to bring in experienced players, over pay for them, and expect older folk to steady to the ship.

Something isn't right amd we can't just blame the players.

Agnelli and the whole management need to be replaced, the club worldview need to be changed, the fact that this club refuses to have foreign coach and that somehow it feels like this club has no scouting and youth departments are what caused all the other problems... And oh yes something need to change in J medical as well, it's beyond pathetic that every players that plays in here seem to not be able to perform at their peak physical conditions and that they're injured even after consistently underperforming.

We’ve lost De Ligt, Dybala, Morata, Berna & Chiellini this window and replaced them with a broken Pogba, Di Maria, Bremer & Gatti. I see 0 improvement in this squad.

I expect another battle for the top 4 but this time Roma are going to put up a big fight, their manager has created a style of play and their squad which was thin has improved a lot.

All of our management team have been sleeping this summer and need to wake the fuck up before this season starts or we’re going to fail yet again

Battle for top 4 with whom? Napoli will barely make UEL/UECL this year, won't contend for top 4.
Inter hasn't sold one of their top players to make for the 70 mil that Zhang wants
Milan hasn't improved too much
Roma has improved, indeed
Atalanta is still a wildcard

I see us winning the league.

None of the names you cited really worked for us the last two seasons replacing them is definitely a positive and a lot of work done in one market. But we still have ways to go to make this a complete squad.

Transfers hasnt really been our biggest problem we always got good signings. The bigger problem lies with our medical/fitness. We get crazy long injuries and those not injured are sluggish and slow throughout the season. Even in the good times we took forever to ramp up.

Winning the League?! :howler:

I love the delusion. Keep dreaming - I love your blind optimism.
I fully expect Juventus to win the league. We're by far the most resourceful team out there, we employ by far the best paid coach with more Serie A titles won than all the competitors combined and signings like Pogba or di Maria were not made to build for the future, we're obviously planning to win now.

If we fail to at least seriously compete for the league title, at least one head should roll sooner rather than later. It's a criminal waste of resources to maintain the best paid squad in Italy year after year and invest loads in short term if all you intend to do is try to win the Coppa and compete for CL places with teams who have maybe a third of what we have.

I hope you are right, but I don't see us winning. If we don't win and endure another trophyless season, more than one head should roll - in fact, all heads should roll.
