Yeah he definitely needs to challenge the title but let's be quicker in signing the player he wants. This season is unusual than other season as there is world Cup in November so lots of fixtures cramped up.

Completely agree it's a friendly game to figure shit out not win or lose. Specially in attacking phase I don't have expectations right now but to not give up space, to be able to know your position and where you need to be, some sort of coherence/"style"/"philosophy"?
Does each one need notes on this shit too? Then wtf are they doing calling themselves professional athletes and Max pro coach wtf are they doing in practice? I'll demand my Sunday league start paying me too lol

It’s a friendly game, I get that. But it’s a friendly against a team on our level (or supposedly) and we get absolutely trounced by them a week before the season starts.

This is the time we need to be peaking in pre-season but the squad has more holes in it than a block of emmental and the tactics and attacking play is as sterile as a woman approaching her 110th birthday.

I hate this ‘the opposition is at a more advanced stage than us’ like - that’s basically saying you’ve not achieved the fitness levels you should have in the same amount of time as atleti.
