Then you look at Villarreal's midfield and you're not that impressed, are you? Same goes for Toro and Lukic - Pobega - Mandragora or whatever else made us look like amateurs this season.
It's kinda clear some things are not prepared in training. The way Cuadrado and De Sciglio were moving the ball around 65th minute can make one only laugh, amateur stuff.
Seems like Allegri is interested a lot in movement and occupying specific spaces but not so much in giving the ball some movement. We're so slow-paced that everyone can deal with it and press us. Otherwise how does one explain the lack of ability to string 3-5 passes altogether in our own half? Even totally talent-less players get it these days, as long as they are given options to make a pass when they get the ball.
It's a myth that's repeated over here consistently but the fact is we're better defensively at cost of offensive output. Pirlo was crazy about attacking, so we were much better at that, while we sucked defensively. Now it's the opposite, we sacrifice the attack for the defense and that's why our strikers suffer so much.
We're a long way from here to get into some kind of balance.

Mourinho is done, has been for many many years. I don’t think Max went full Mourinho yet but the possibility is real. I think the fact this club has been falling down the hill for the last 3-4 seasons is playing a big part as well. He should’ve gone to Madrid when he had momentum on his side.

I don’t need an excuse. We didn’t lose today. And it wasn’t some undeserved result. We had great chances to score another couple goals, they did to. It was a pretty even away game in the CL knockouts. A good performance? No. There are 3 months left in the season, we have a home game we need to win to qualify for QFs, 3 months to improve, and you’re hoping we fail to get top 4 so he’s fired. That’s beyond stupid and petty. If we get knocked out of CL by Villarreal then maybe you can start with this, but otherwise it’s just dumb and premature lol
