Those will be long 4 years it seems. No matter the opponent, the approach is the same...

I don't blame him much for tonight, as he had almost no options upfront. The midfield should have been constructed way better (just fuck off with Rabiot already).

One would wish we wouldn't sit back so much against this weak teams. Let's be honest, Villarreal haven't been good today. It's Juve taking the foot off the gas and dropping even deeper into defense gave them hope.

Yeah, the squad is badly constructed and it shows a lot. Approach is everything in modern game too and we seem to lack that punch we used to have.

+ I liked the 352 setup a lot more, wish wed stick to that even when Dybala returns
+ I liked the energy coming out in the 2nd half, wish we'd do that more

- super late with subs again, we were absolving a loot of pressure for a long time before they scored, dunno what Max was waiting for;
- we're incredibly poor in getting service to Vlahovic. Hell, we can't even give him standard passes in the final third, lets start with that and then move onto chance creation;
- I'm getting the impression that in the midfield its Zakaria or McKennie, Locatelli or Arthur and no matter what Rabiot, our worst mid, is a guaranteed starter. I get players having specific roles where they're best suited and Rabiots competition Berna is injured, but come on, switch things up

His pragmatism is what's keeping us apart from chasing the win and losing. He either takes it up a notch or go even more hardcore when defending.

There's always going to be a draw in between with the current approach. I don't feel any excitment over watching the remaining games tbh, it's just that 'meh' feeling like going to work at 7am in the morning.

...Ineffective use of the new sub rule.....
agree with some of the rest, but this? soulé and kean were left on the bench. kean is useless, soulé might have replaced cuadrado maybe.

btw sitting back and defending a lead like this is a terrible attitude indeed. we defended a 2-0 away at munich, 3-0 away at madrid, we got fucked on both occasions. he should have learned from those.

that's harsh and no need to go full turk with insults, but playing rabiot and being content with a draw when this match could have been won... i mean i'm disappointed.
There is no shame in just saying what you see. The game has passed him by like it has passed Mourinho. We all used to like him. He was at the top, now he's at the bottom.

It's not wrong just to call it like you see it. He is at the bottom until he ADAPTS.
