Before Allegri went on vacation, it was a different game. The opponent would take a feeble attempt on goal and sprint back to park the bus and we just walked it up the pitch.

Now we get pressed by fucking Verona and Torino for the full 90 minutes. He has no gameplan for that. He's learning on the fly.

you know whats getting really annoying? These ex Italian managers/players talking the sweet talk about how Italian clubs need to adapt to the modern game (Max) and how they know how to get the best out of Ronaldo (Pirlo) and then just reverting back to what they know as soon as they get the manager job. Fuck em all, give me a non Italian like Juric and he will take this club farther than any of these arrogant old school fuckers.

How is this the case?

Last season we conceded 38 goals in Serie A, 8 in CL, and 4 in the cup. This season we have conceded 25 in Serie A, 6 in CL, and 2 in the cup.

50 vs 33 so far
From Serie A only after 26 rounds
Last year with Pirlo we had 16 Wins - 7 Draws - 3 Lose, 53 Goals scored - 22 Goals conceded, 55 Points
This year after 26 rounds with Allegri we have 13 Wins - 8 Draws - 5 Lose, 38 Goals scored - 23 conceded, 47 Points.
If we have 55 points after 26 rounds this season, we will have same points with Milan at 1st with Milan have 1 game in hand

If we did worse than last season, i don't think Allegri have excuse
It seems for me some players performance regressing compare to last year.
Some players like Cuadrado, Chiesa, Morata, Rabiot, McKennie i think played better last season

And with Pirlo's we have a better record against team above us like :
Inter [Conte] (we lost 1, won 1, and also won 1 and draw 1 in Coppa Italy)
Milan ( we won 1 and lost 1)
Atalanta (we draw 1 which should be win if Ronaldo scored last minute penalty, lost 1, and won 1 in Coppa Italy)
Napoli (won 1 and lost 1)

I love Allegri but we need a progressive foreigner yesterday!

Max has a 4 year contract. He will not leave/be sacked before 2025.
juve made a mistake by choosing him over zidane. bringing him back was quite wrong.

If you look at the table, we have 38 goals scored and 23 conceded so far. Nine teams scored more goals than us which is almost half of the seria a teams. You don't have to be a genius to guess our tactical approach to games this year.

We could definitely improve this ratio if Max could just decide to be a bit more agressive.

Instead of defending deep for 80 minutes, maybe press the opposition for 20 more minutes and then defend for 60 minutes only.

We don't have to go full gegenpress mode for 90 minutes, but I'm sure we can throw more players in the box at least.

Max preaches that we need to score more goals. Well you can't expect to score if their defenders outnumber your attackers for most of the time every game.
Allegri is so defensive that he prefers to win only by 1-0.

Just get me a half decent young German manager.

You can't play attacking football without decent attackers and players that give you tons of possession so you can construct attacks. Now look at the number of assists and goals that come from anyone other than Dybala. The squad dictates the way we play more than what a manager can do at the moment.

So you are literally saying that our attackers are below the level of "decent"?

And you don't get possession from the attackers. You get possession from winning the ball off the opponent. Our tactics are designed to cede possession and launch counters.

Cant both be an issue? It’s pretty obvious the approach by Allegri to games are super defensive no? Pogba wouldn’t make a difference if he’s parked right in front of his own box.
Get rid of slow dinosaurs in defense like chiellini and bonucci push the line up and get some midfielders who can actually create

I don't buy this whole line that Maxx just plays defensive regressive football and is married to it. Give him the squad to play progressively and he will.

No, attacks come through the midfield and if they don't, the wing backs bypass the midfield to get the ball to our attackers. The other components of the team facilitate the attack. We actually do have plenty of possession but we create little from it. Vlahovic and Dybala score while Morata and Kean don't. Facts.

I just don't know what's happening to Allegri, why do we play so scared against meagre opposition? Why were we defending a 1 - 0 against Torino? Hell, we have a pretty fucking decent squad, even if the midfield is not all that great compared to other top teams, it's still better than freaking Torino. He used to make us play better and usually had amazing subs, yet now he even fucks those up and has fucking Rabbit as a left midfielder, because he's known for his skills on the ball and speed, right? Fuck, I don't think even Pirlo would be doing worse with this team.
