Not a huge fan of Arthur(it's well documented) but even a dancing Arthur is a much better option than having Rabiot.

For me Loca is not a DM or someone who can control the tempo of the game. I'd much rather have him play further forward.
Id like to see Loca Arthur Zak in the middle. 3 players with different characteristics, Loca can play more advanced, Zak is a hustler, Arthur can control the middle. Rabiot I want to see someplace else, preferably different club and a league. We should steer clear of players that are little bit good at everything but excelling at nothing. We need more specialists.

Locatelli is used to playing LCM. Arthur is doing fine as regista lately. Zakaria or McK as RCM depending on how the game goes.

Allegri is doing typical Allegri stuff, ignorant and ‘balancing’ everything out. It’s a shame that we’re in the second half of the season and Arthur + Loca started only one game together.

I don't know how Arthur will work against high pressing teams. We definitely need to rethink this formation without any genuine wingers.
the trident is fine, and 4-3-3 would be fine too. it's hard to pick a best midfield trio though since everyone we have is heavily flawed (save for loca who's the most balanced). i'd probably lean towards zak, arthur, loca on the long run, but in that case mckennie is benched and he's the only mid who can make anything happen in the box.

4-2-3-1 with cuadrado at rw isn't necessarily a bad option, but we absolutely need a healthy danilo for that to work, and one of morata and mckennie should overperform at lw too.

Agree with putting Cuadrado as the right winger and possibly bernardeschi on the left side. Also we need options coming of the bench with kean offering nothing and no trust in kaio we need to bench one of Morata/Dybala in some games.

That result has now had time to settle and I’m still worried. Allegri seems to have regressed. His strength used to be that he made the right subs and changed games.

Now he’s making the wrong subs and changing games for our opponents. His tactical plan looks outdated. His man management is good but we often walk onto the pitch with no real identity, content to be controlled and out played in our own stadium by what should be cannon fodder opponents. He’s got to the end of the season to change things but at the moment he’s seriously disappointed against expectations

Even pep Guardiola needed one season to get his act together for man city inspite of his transfer spending.I think @Jager and @singus are just conte and Mourinho fans who are waiting for the team to fail so that Allegri gets sacked.
There are 10 or more coaches I would rather have than the Alzheimers. List keeps growing. Conte and Mourinho definitely not in the top, in case you were curious.

What a disaster, and what was that post match interview? How many embarrassing defeatist interviews has he done now? He keeps making Sarri sound like a winner. Disgusting attitude not worthy of a Juventus staff.

Ehhh I'm starting to sour on him

Can't keep using the (once perfectly valid) shit midfield excuse anymore to defend why we have zero attacking game plan and any team that actively pressures us puts us on the back foot no matter how 'inferior' they are on paper

This squad should be finding games like this relatively easy to control 9/10 times yet it seems like the opposite

Serie A teams in general seem to be playing a more modern, aggressive style of football that we have seen everywhere else for over a decade yet we're regressing year in, year out. Teams won't sit back in their own half for no reason like they did a decade ago. The blueprint to get results against us has been known for years now.

Seriously disgusting viewing this. Seriously sack Allegri if he doesn't achieve 4th place, dont give a fuck how much it cost. Keep Landucci though lol

Pep's philosophy is far more complex than that of Conte's or Allegri, so its bound to take longer, what I can't accept is that I'm seeing absolutely fuck all identity with Allegri still. God now I know why Nedved and Paratici wanted Allegri gone in the first place, Allegri has had his ways with transfers this season and we still look like fucking shit!

it gets worse when you think how much he earns. that wage would get us a top line winger

i would play sandro and cuadrado as wingers with ds and danilo as full backs behind them

It is still the consequence of having a poorly constructed squad. Our players don't don't fit with each other. The current best system we have is a 433 without wingers and without an attacking mezzala.

We saw it with Sarri, Pirlo, and Allegri.

It is improving though, last night was disappointing but we are generally on the up trend. This was the 12th match in a row unbeaten in Serie A. After finding this solidity we have to decrease the draws.

The last 3 matches were Verona, Atalanta, Torino (with Sassuolo CI mixed in). Basically the 3 teams of Gasperini's style, built by him and Juric. This is the most difficult for us to play against and vs Torino everyone was tired. It's a big point to improve against such physical teams that defend well, press in unison, and outrun the opposition.

On another note, Juric is turning out to be a great coach.

Mourinho fan  you really do pull the most absurd shit out of your ass at times.

As for the quality of this team, you could give Allegri Messi, Mbappe and Haaland and yet he'd still find a way to ruin them with his crappy 'inshallah hoof the ball from the defense and let the attackers do their own thing' tactics. There is no gameplan going forward. He prides himself on his defensive style yet he's conceeded more goals so far than Pirlo did in his entire season, so it's not even like he has that going for him either. He's just an outdated manager by this point who's too stubborn to admit when he fucks up and instead pretends that poor performances are "positive results"

As for Conte that ship has probably sailed. We should have brought him back in 2019, and in doing so InDa would never have reached the heights they have today, nor would they have ended our scudetto streak. We would be high flying in the league right now.
