Mourinho fan  you really do pull the most absurd shit out of your ass at times.

As for the quality of this team, you could give Allegri Messi, Mbappe and Haaland and yet he'd still find a way to ruin them with his crappy 'inshallah hoof the ball from the defense and let the attackers do their own thing' tactics. There is no gameplan going forward. He prides himself on his defensive style yet he's conceeded more goals so far than Pirlo did in his entire season, so it's not even like he has that going for him either. He's just an outdated manager by this point who's too stubborn to admit when he fucks up and instead pretends that poor performances are "positive results"
How is this the case?

Last season we conceded 38 goals in Serie A, 8 in CL, and 4 in the cup. This season we have conceded 25 in Serie A, 6 in CL, and 2 in the cup.

50 vs 33 so far

Deserves blame for his terrible subs yesterday. Kean is a UCO (useless clumsy oaf). In a game with tired legs, he should have thrown on Ake, who would have been more dangerous attacking the spaces and taking on players with his pace.

Pasquale Bruno to Radio Deejay: " The most pissed off at #Juve are #Dybala and #Morata. What is the point of playing them that way? They were 70 meters away from goal. Poor Dybala. He doesn't have the physical strength to play there. You'll kill him that way. Both will not score a lot because they have no idea what to do."

Alessio #Tacchinardi to TMW Radio on yesterday's Derby: "#Juventus couldn't maintain the intensity all game. It's a big step backward. A team that went in slowly with few ideas. #Vlahović that always played 40m away with his back to goal is a step backward. #Torino was more organized.

In Spain, Juve will find an opponent who, in case they don't find ideas, will beat Juve so bad that it will be remembered for a while. Don't believe to face a squad that is not organized. It's Juve who should put order to its ideas: Villarreal is a great team"

If you look at the table, we have 38 goals scored and 23 conceded so far. Nine teams scored more goals than us which is almost half of the seria a teams. You don't have to be a genius to guess our tactical approach to games this year.

We could definitely improve this ratio if Max could just decide to be a bit more agressive.

Instead of defending deep for 80 minutes, maybe press the opposition for 20 more minutes and then defend for 60 minutes only.

We don't have to go full gegenpress mode for 90 minutes, but I'm sure we can throw more players in the box at least.

Max preaches that we need to score more goals. Well you can't expect to score if their defenders outnumber your attackers for most of the time every game.

It isnt the case but... Tell few lies, then add some more over the time until it sticks. Wrap that into a story and spread propaganda. Jager

Did Jager just again make the claim that we’ve conceded more this season?

@Gigiventus it’s actually 23 in the league conceded. So 31 total.

We've improved a bit from the start of the season. Can we expect any more improvement between now and the end of the season?
If we don’t continue improving, he probably should be sacked at the end of the season. He may not be, with the contract given, and giving him the summer mercato and the beginning of next season to get this team back to winning ways, but if we finish poorly this year I’d be fine with us moving on. Sarri and Pirlo both started their seasons on big unbeaten runs. The reason both were sacked was because we got progressively worse under both of them as the season wore on. Our worst period under both was the last couple months of the season. If Max does the opposite and now that the defence is mostly sorted he starts getting our attacking play improved over the last couple months he deserves another year imo

If we're content to start defending only when the opponent crosses the halfway line, I agree. However if we intend to put any kind of pressure on opponent, 433 with 3 strikers is shit
haha well we should all know by now that we only defend in our half so..

Depends on how we perform in the champions League. Last season after exit against porto our confidence was extremely low results went down in the league thankfully scrapped to the fourth spot.
Agreed about morale and confidence but we need a better attacking game plan

I don't see him getting sacked even without top 4 finish. We can only hope that our attacking game will start to improve next. Maybe as you said, we needed to stabilise our defence first :xfingers:
