zero progression after somehow fixing the glaring defensive holes back in october. too careful with the approach, 4-4-2 should have been killed months ago. should use youngsters more. no identity, no attacking plan. squad is bad by juve standards, but still should act as a team by january.

disappointed with daddy.

SAD
We played a good match considering we played with reserves. Its Sandro that made us lose with no fucks given.

We did a lot better than I expected tbh.

It was an awful, reserve-like lineup against the best team in Italy and we were seconds away from a penalty shoot out until Alex fucking Sandro done his usual job of fucking it all up for us.

Inter created fuck all for most of the game. Allegri has sorted out a lot of our defensive issues since last season, it’s just a pity for him that our attacking options are threadbare and laughably bad and he has no Ronaldo to bail him out.

The problem was never Allegri, Pirlo or Sarri.

This team is just dogshit. Half a decade of horrible recruitment has finally came back to bite us on the ass.

Summer of 2015, when we bought Dybala, Mandzukic, Cuadrado, Khedira and Sandro was probably the last good transfer window.

Since then, all we’ve had is short term solutions, market signings, and zero structure in how to build a team.

Ronaldo was good when he played here but his signing was one of many mistakes, probably one of the biggest ones.

This will take at least 5 years to recover IMO.

Anybody know wtf was the point of keeping Dybala benched until min 70? I understand he might not be 100% yet but why not start a more creative and better player to apply more pressure on merda and attempt to control the tempo, then sub him later if necessary? When you are already starting the match with so many jebronis and are without your regular starters why add Dybala to that list? Guy can draw penalties take fks, apply most pressure on them out of everyone we have, instead kulu starts for exactly what reason only Max knows.

I agree with the jist of what you’re saying but we’ve had good transfer windows after 2015 too.

Summer of 2019 where we signed Ramsey, Rabiot, De Ligt, Demiral and Danilo for eg, was also an excellent transfer window atleast on paper . Just look at the first few pages for these players on these forums as a reference point. Most people were happy with those moves, with the exception of Danilo’s ( who has been a pleasant surprise).

Players like Ramsey and Rabiot turned out to be dissapointments obvious but they were considered good transfers at the time.

The issue is knee jerk reactions and looking for quick solutions . It almost reminds you of the crap Moratti used to pull off at Inter when they had the money but continued to miss our on trophies everytime.

We need Dybala for Serie A. No one cares for Supercup. With Chiesa out, Dybala struggling with fitness, it makes sense to preserve him for more important competition.

Inter Forwards List :Lautaro,Dzeko,Sanchez,Correa.
Juve Forwards List:Morata,Dybala,Kean,Kaio
Inter scored a penalty and took Sandro's generous gift otherwise their strikers did little despite the backing of a far better midfield. If we even had a mediocre playmaker or winger, we'd have won yesterday unfortunately we had Bernardeschi and Kulusevski. We're not far off.

Having said that Kean and kaio are strikers that are absolutely not ready for a team that is competing in all competitions.

one can argue that 2015 team was partly conte's, but after that? out of the cardiff team, only some defenders played under conte, it was a 90% new team, new tactics, new everything.
That team is precisely is an example of how you should not build your team. bunch of mediocre, aged players came for big money and left for free. it is the reason we went bankrupt. marotta's masterpiece. he is doing same for inter now. apart from 4-5 players, it is a group of mediocre and old people. they will fall hard.
