Allegri, being the highest paid coach in Italy, brings real value for money here. But it's not his fault, who wouldn't jump if such an offer arrived. This was probably a mistake to bring him back. We should have had a strategy when we sacked him and we didn’t. We also didn’t have a strategy when we brought him back.

The reality is that we’ve not improved on last season under pirlo. We’ve actually gone backwards. Under pirlo we lacked defensive shape and control but we had an ability to score goals. Under Allegri we are lacking defensive shape, control and ideas going forward.

Really bad, really really bad. Allegri is a great manager but this wasn’t the project for him simply because this wasn’t a project. It was lazy management from the board expecting a manager to paper over their calamitous decisions since Marotta left

Allegri is not capable of handling this squad. It sure is a weak side but seeing us 10th is horrible and Allegri is to be blamed.

Seriously, fuck coaches when they need Sergej, Zaniolo, Haaland, Barella and others to win. Our current squad IS bad but we're underperforming and our coach is surely one of main reasons we're sucking.

I wanted Allegri here but I was hoping he could make this squad work. He started off decent but it just kept getting worse and worse, right now we're on Pirlo's level. Simply horrible and humiliating.

Id give him a full season regardless of what happens and if he manages to sort shit out during the season and we do look like a top team at least at the end of season, then buy him players he can use over the summer and hope for the best. The merry go around of coaches has gone on for too long, long term stability >>> short term results for me.
