When we hired Conte, and when we hired Allegri, how much international success did they have? and did they do pretty well both of them? YES.
They would not have been included in your above list back then.

There are probably 10-40 coaches out there with good ideas and good results, who could be the next world famous coach, if we cared to look to other people than ex-players and italians.

Without much research I could also add the following:
- Poch
- Tuchel
- Mourinho
- Gasperini
- Nagelsmann

And these are very well knowns too. Our directors should be able to identify more interesting candidates, if they actually watch football and do their job.
Other clubs are doing so with success as well.

Yes that is the main problem that our scouting department does not consist of knowledgable people like you who know how to judge talent and whether should we wait for more time before judging them as some players are one season wonders or kulusevksi who was half season wonder

the coach can motivate all he wants, these players are just not hardworkers except for Chiesa.

Do you see Morata's confidence and how he misses sitters, or Bernardeschi giving the fans "highlight reels", or when Rabiot is a passenger, or when Bentancur and Arthur passes to the opposition.

Name a coach we can get that would fix this mess. Our current coach is not a creative one, but at least he knows that limiting space to the opponent is the way to go with this squad.

lol, look how subjective you are in disqualifying those top managers. And Im not talking about NOW. Im talking about the last 3 seasons when we were looking for a change from Allegri. Right now we are already locked in with Allegri for 4 years, however that will go.

And as I said, there are many other candidates whom you and I dont know anything about, because its not our job to follow this 24/7. But we have people who are paid to do that. And all these managers listed by you and I, they were found by other clubs BEFORE they became super successfull and well-known. Just like we did with Conte, and to some degree with Allegri, although he had some success before with Milan too.
Thats how it works, if you cant afford the most proven ones. Its really not that hard to understand. But we only look for Italians, thats my point. We only had 1 foreign coach in the last 50 years or maybe whole history? Deschamps, a previous captain at our club. Thats how adventurous we have been so far.

Now Allegri should get until end of the season obviously, to turn this around, and even if we miss out on CL, I would assume that he would stay, due to the contract and due to the way our club operates.
But back then I would wish we had looked outside of Italy for options during last 3 years, as well as for the future.

He was my second choice after Zidane. Also depends on the availability and quality of other coaches but I was wrong. Great cup coach even with some shortcomings and "just" a good league coach, not best of the best (there are people who actually thought we won those 5 titles thanks to him and not bc we had the best squads by far). But with Conte and Lukaku gone, thought that was enough.

Obviously should get the rest of the season (unless there's downward spiral and top 4 is in serious jeopardy) and then evaluate. Coaches are usually let go when they lose the dressing room.

When did I say he's worse than Pep Pirlo? Literally been laughing at "Pep Pirlo" since last season. Allegri is an actual, professional coach with resume and experience. How, where did you get the idea and that level of comprehension? Lol

Someone pointed out that Allegri used Benta-Arthur just to see if the combination would work, basically throwing ingredients against the wall to see if it sticks, possibly because he didn't follow our matches at all last season. I don't know if this is true or not, but if it is, this is unacceptable to me. Anybody can throw together a team with whatever combinations and permutations and see if something works. That's not coaching, a freaking computer algorithm can do that.

Sometimes second stints at a job don't always work out. Organizations change, people change, processes change, the competition changes, et cetera. Hoping to garner results based on a snapshot of time a few years ago isn't a competent strategy. Some of these players need to be broken of their ways, or benched forever, not coddled because they've been there forever or have high salaries.
