We finished 3rd fresh out of B and 2nd the following year with those. For 09/10 Nedved retired, ADP, Trez and Camo missed almost half the games each, and Buffon played in 27. I would announce polak is injured and out for two weeks and try Perin in this period.
That should face Tek’s face, and give us a better idea about what Perin can offer us, if he does well then it’s only fair that he keeps the starting spot, if he’s not better than Tek (I can’t really see how) then it’s fine the latter is back to fitness and will retake his spot.

Ranieri inheriting a somewhat functional system of play vs much lesser coaches with weaker players. It's not a single factor. But these coaches got the sack and deservedly so even if they had a weaker roster than Ranieri. And there was enough of those legends in the team during these horrible years as evidence by how dominant they became when Conte came on board.
No one is asking for CL winning football of Allegri with this team though Ironically thats what was expected of Sarri & Pirlo at the start (shows how much expectations have dropped in 2 years

But the winning the Serie A title and getting past the group stage should be a very reasonable target and this start is extremely concerning. If Inter out preform us in the league after losing Conte, Lukaku, Hakim and Eriksen....we should switch to basketball

Rabiot + Ramsey(deals were done before his dismissal).
IMO, Pjanic and Matuidi were good/decent, the rest are a complete disaster. He has to assume some of the blame along with management for this ridiculous roster of mediocre players.
