It's all about inability to move the game higher when we have the ball and don't allow Udinese to get out so easily out of their half if they have it. I mean, they're not Barca ffs, they're bunch of butchers who lost their play maker and replaced him with nobody.
Move the game higher and suddenly Okaka and Deulofeu would be in our CBs pockets, good luck picking up long balls with your back to the goal vs our CBs.
Here's hoping that Rabiot and Locatelli really step it up, also McKennie. Bentancur was decent in comparison to what he had shown last season.

I trust he will get things right eventually, he might've underestimated a bit how shaky Tek is lately when talking about clean sheets aswell as how prone we still are to counters when teams high-press us but all in all it was just the first game of the season and nobody and anything could have prevented the goalkeeping blunders that lost us the points yesterday, point is that overall we still looked more motivated and with a more direct type of football which suits most of this group of players much better than the "tiki-caca" attempted by Sarri or Pirlo, clearly still lots left to improve on but again ,it was just the first game of the season and a lot of thinkering from Allegri was always to be expected given the multiple question marks present in this squad, nobody can turn a running crap into a flying butterfly after only a few weeks of training, and yet still even so if not for the totally avoidable GK mistakes and a couple misses that would've been a goal any other day we would have still won it easily, nevermind the blatant goal disallowed after a milimeter flagged offside.
Some of y'all need to relax a bit, nothing is over now that we only got a draw just as nothing major would have been achieved if we had won yesterday, obviously would've better to win and to avoid losing easy points that way but if it's a moment in the season that this would be somewhat understandable it would probably be in the first few games of the season, even more so with the managerial and football philosophy changes that we have gone through in the past few seasons.

Some seem to just want to make more out of it than it really is tbf and it's honestly pointless at this early moment into the season.
Some of y'all need to relax a bit, nothing is over now that we only got a draw just as nothing major would have been achieved if we had won yesterday, obviously would've better to win and to avoid losing easy points that way but if it's a moment in the season that this would be somewhat understandable it would probably be in the first few games of the season, even more so with the managerial and football philosophy changes that we have gone through in the past few seasons.

Max definitely not without blame here, he’s even admitted that he thinks he changed too much and that he needs to get used to how to change a game with 5 subs. We didn’t look in control after the substitutions changed our shape. Kulusevski’s intro was also a hindrance - he offers nothing from a tactical perspective and technically he’s very limited going forward, he was chasing shadows after his introduction. The move to a back 3 wasn’t needed and we would have been better served bringing Loca on for more midfield solidity and energy
Reality is though that bar 2 utter calamities from the idiot that is Tek and that’s a very comfortable 2-0 win we would have had, the created the 2 goals and 1 other chance so we’re really incredibly fortunate to get anything out of the game.

imo locatelli and arthur combo is gonna be the key to allegri.
this midfield is shit, and people can hate arthur all they want but he is good at passing and holding the ball and is underrated when it comes to intercepting balls too. this midfield desperately needs to get back the element of control they had under allegri when he had prime marchisio or pjanic in, and arthur is key to that. locatelli alone won't be enough.
you need two intelligent mids. so that is locatelli and arthur. the third needs to be an all rounder that is physical so that is bentancur or mckennie or rabiot. having two smart passers in the team who are good at ball retention will mask mckennie and bentancur's weakness with passing. only 1 passer in mid can't do that.
i'd be curious if allegri goes back to his 4-3-1-2 system he used in 2015. i think that formation is best suited for this team to get the players to perform the best overall, not in terms of invidividual play.

More than the clownshow from Szczesny, one major takeaway is how we tend to collapse after taking leads. Used to happen all the time last season.
If we're collapsing the same way come Feb/March, then there is a cause for concern. Having said that, we still have too many useless players who shouldn't be anywhere near the starting lineup.
Tici has done long term damage to this club which is going to take some time to fix.

This is not just about Tek and its very convenient to shift the blame to Allegri.
